TRIPLE H'S CHARACTER IN 2015, THE MYSTERIOUS MASKED MAN IN WWF, TNA CONTRACTS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-05-29 10:00:00
My question is revolving Triple H. As a member of the authority, whenever any fight breaks out, he's the first one to run away, even getting out of the ring before Steph. Doesn't this make the Cerebral Assassin look weak? What happened to that tough guy? I understand he's now in a "executive role" but is he unable to handle his own business? Just seems really weird to see a guy who was such a tough guy for so long constantly running from a fight.

Triple H of the Authority is sort of like Commissioner Foley. Sure, we knew Mick was presented as one of the best of all time and one of the toughest, but in the role of Commissioner, he was there to get others over, not get involved. I see HHH the same way in this role. Yes, he is an antagonist, but he's not there to be THE antagonist. The guys wrestling in the ring are.

Does GFW have a television distribution deal or is Double J doing weekly PPV's again like TNA in the early days (which would be bad business in my opinion)?

GFW has nothing signed at this point.

Do you think that Triple H has pretty much down dropped as Michael Cole's subject during his weekly sit-down interviews as Triple H has been replaced by the likes of John Cena and Seth Rollins?

No, I think they are using the interview as a forum to further storylines with those beyond HHH of late, but he'll be back.

I was watching WWF footage and a masked man came out and attacked some villains on different shows but to the best of my knowledge, it was never followed up upon. Any idea who this is/was and where it lead? I cannot remember this at all.

It was Brutus Beefcake. WWF was going to give him a new character. It was dropped rather quickly and I believe the story that made the rounds at the time is that he wasn't ready to return to the ring after his facial injuries suffered in a parasailing accident a year or so prior. He later returned to the ring in 1993.

Do former TNA wrestlers have to wait ninety days before jumping to ROH?

No, TNA doesn't have 90 days clauses. WWE has them because when they release someone, they pay them the next 90 days to keep them from appearing immediately off TV. TNA doesn't have that clause.
