Is the way WWE sets up and presents Elimination Chamber thus far a sign of how the network can be effectively used? It's a different approach with a unique gimmick being put exclusively on their own platform, plus they do think a little outside of the box by not putting the, on paper, bigger matches (Rollins/Ambrose & Cena/Owens) in the chamber, but the two midcard bouts, that both have the potential to be showstealers as well. Add in the star of arguably the second biggest reason to spend their 9.99 right now (NXT) and you have something unique and exclusive that might very well make people want to try the WWE network out. What's your take on Elimination Chamber and the time spot (very close to the previously done Payback-ppv) it is?

I have said since day one that WWE should have more first run wrestling on The WWE Network. The vast majority of people are buying it to see wrestling, not stuff like Jerry Springer or Seth Green. I have said since the beginning that they should record their Friday night house show (since it’s usually an all hands on deck event as its the only show) and air it on Saturday nights. Wrestling is what wrestling fans want to see. So I love the idea of putting a first run, special event on the Network. And the timing is great too, as it may keep people who signed up for the free month in May active into June. As for NXT, it could be argued that its the primary draw to a lot of people.

I think that if WWE really wanted to have Roman Reigns be the next big star they should have turned him heel and let him get over organically. Worked for Cena, Daniel Bryan, etc. I also think they are missing the boat with Bray Wyatt. Thoughts?

Oh yeah, they have missed the boat with Bray. The way that they booked him so poorly against John Cena has hurt him. A lot. I don’t know that he will ever recover in the eyes of the fan, which is a damn shame. He deserved better. AND NO TURNING ROMAN HEEL! One of the WWE’s biggest problems is too many turns. I don’t have a problem with Reigns being a face. It’s just that they booked him as being a Cena-like goofy face, saying things like Sufferin’ Succotash. They should have just let him be a bad ass face and not pushed him to the main event as soon as they did. Since then, they have done a good job of letting him prove he belongs. As long as they don’t rush him to the top of the card, he will be OK.

I am not an NXT watcher, but whenever I have seen someone from NXT on Raw or SD, I have generally been impressed. Well except for the Ascension. And Kevin Owens. Last night, on Raw, KO shows up, and I was totally unimpressed. Yet everyone makes a big deal of him, So what am I missing?

You answered your own question. What you are missing is what Owens does in the ring, you know, how he wrestles! If you had watched him work, you would probably understand why so many people think highly of him.

Do you ever think they'll introduce a mid card title to NXT? As they have such a strong mid card and it seems to be ever growing.

I hope not. They do one hour of TV a week and think they are perfect having just the NXT Title.

I remember early last year Chris Hero being in NXT as Cassius Ono do you know why he left or was let go and do you see him coming back down the line?

The most mentioned thing I heard at the time was that they didn’t like his look/training approach. At 35 years old, I don’t see him going back but you never know.
