Not sure why so many grave dancers have been rejoicing the past couple of days now, but is it possible that Impact is indeed done as we know it after September........but that a new, fresh program that is the vision and creation of Corgan will appear in it's place? So it would still be TNA, but maybe somehow new and improved for real this time?

I am with you, I don’t understand why anyone would be happy if TNA went out of business. If those people don’t like it, don’t watch it. But to hope it goes out of business? To me that is selfish, self-absorbed behavior. Now if someone worked for them and feel that got screwed, fine. But if you are just a wrestling fan, you are a dick if you hope they go out of people because good people will lose their jobs and people that like the product won’t have it anymore.

I can tell you this, I have been told that TNA’s contract with Destination America does allow for it to be canceled. Since Corgan is booking the product now, if DA likes what they see, there is no reason to cancel it in September.

Read your q&a just now and wondered about CM Punk being interested in returning to the WWE if HHH was in charge. He said some damning things about HHH, but he must know that HHH has to tow the company line, especially in Vince's presence. If HHH was in charge, based on his efforts with NXT and CM Punk's name value if he does well in the UFC, do you think they could come to a mutually agreeable work relationship?

Punk has had issues with HHH too. He did not want to wrestle him at WrestleMania and made it clear he thought a match with HHH would be beneath him. So there is that issue there. With that said down the line, you never know. People tend to mellow as they age so down the road, it could happen. I am not saying it will or even that I think it will, just that it could.

For whatever reason, we've seen WWE curtail Seth Rollins' use of the curb stomp, a move that was over and very effective.  Do you think they will also ask Samoa Joe to stop using the muscle buster in favor of another move less impactful on the neck?

WWE, wisely, is concerned about those high impact moves and the potential damage that they can cause so they take action in minimizing them as much as possible. With that said, guys can do a bit more in NXT, as it is not the main roster. I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe can use the Buster in NXT. If he is ever brought up to the main roster, it may be another matter.

I really enjoyed he NXT takeover special.  Great blogs too by the way!  My question is about the title match.  I loved the story of Zayn taking it to Owens.  He was just on fire and did way more than I expected he would hitting move after move.  But with that said,  I thought the match ended kind of abruptly?  I was really enjoying it and looking forward to how they book the ending.  Basically Owens just catching him with the one move when he really had no offense prior to that. I was a little disappointed in that.  Just wanted to ask what you thought about it?

Sami went in with the shoulder injury so I was shocked we got as much as we did out of him. I didn’t have any problem with how it was booked. I took it as Owens “being shocked” that Sami could do all that he did, hence him being on the defensive. And of course, then Samoa Joe came out, which was awesome.

I have noticed that Dave Meltzer has been taking to twitter to attack fans that questions things he has reported lately, especially about TNA.  I find it interesting because he has been around for years and before social media, fans didn't have a way to challenge him.  What do you think about him engaging with so many fans lately?  And how do you react if/when people do that to you?

Dave was somewhat late to the internet party, being a print journalist for so many years. That was largely how he distributed his work. The interplay with readers is much different in that scenario as its people who pay to read the work and thus tend to be fans of what you do. On social media, people don’t have to support your work with their dollars, so in many cases they can say things to you and you have to decide whether it’s worth responding. I tend to ignore people that are disrespectful. I didn’t even know that Dave was responding until I saw your question. My advice to him would be this. It’s fine to protect your work and stand behind it. But taking troll bait and responding in kind? Only do it if you really feel like ripping a loser.
