WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: FOUR OF THE SIX TEAMS IN THE TAG TITLE MATCH IN ACTION, WHO GETS A NIGHT OFF?, REMATCHES FROM RAW, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2015-05-21 21:55:17
We start off this week’s show with a look back at what happened on Raw during the Seth Rollins celebration.

We are in Norfolk, Virginia and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and Jerry Lawler.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring and he has something to say.

Roman thanks everyone and he says it is good to see them too. He says he has some bad news. He tells everyone he did not win at Payback. He says he has some good news. He had a really good time at Payback. Any time you punch Seth Rollins in the mouth, that is a good time. The Shield hit a triple power bomb and blew the roof off the joint.

Roman says he got to go toe to toe with his bro, Dean Ambrose. The fact is, I can chase Seth every single week, and it will not be a fair fight. By next week, he will have another 50 tiny security guards with him. Roman says he is all about punching little security guys in the face. Roman says that he has a new plan. He is going to enter the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Roman says he will win and you can believe that.

Dean Ambrose’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Dean apologizes for interrupting but he heard Payback and his ears were burning so he looked for a bucket, but he made a wrong turn. Dean says he heard Roman talking about Money in the Bank. He mentions the steel and blood spattering. Dean says he won’t be reaching for that opportunity to become WWE Champion because he will already be WWE Champion.

Roman says it was pretty nifty to see Dean outsmart Seth for a title match. Roman tells Dean to think for once about an exit strategy.

Kane’s music plays and he makes his way onto the stage.

Kane tells everyone he cannot believe what he is saying but he agrees with Roman. Dean’s exit strategy ended with the Pedigree. He might have gotten one over Seth, but you can ask Roman because the Authority always wins.

Roman asks Kane how he knows the Authority wins because he is on his back.

Kane says that Roman is not in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Kane says this is not a personal bias. It is based on fact. You lost at Wrestlemania. You lost at Payback. The only thing you have earned is your spot at the back of the line. The only way you will get another title opportunity is to prove it to him.

Dean says that this is what we always get, Justin Bieber’s groupie doing the Authority’s dirty work. He cannot imagine how brutal it must be for Kane. You used to be a Brother of Destruction and now you are the red headed stepchild of the Authority. When Hunter and Steph feed you your scraps, do you use a fork and knife or do you eat from a bowl like the lapdog you are.

Kane tells Dean never to mention his family in any way. It seems like Dean has a hard time listening. Maybe he will get the message this way. You get a rematch against the man who planted your face in the mat on Raw . . . Bray Wyatt.

Dean says that is exactly what he wanted to ask Kane. He has unfinished business with Bray and he will take care of it tonight.

Kane says he doesn’t have any plans for Roman. He tells Roman he should spend the rest of the evening reflecting on your failures. You need to turn inward and find ways to grow as a complete superstar, so enjoy your night off.

Roman says today is a rest day so he will turn it into a cheat day. He will go into the back and take some Chesapeake Bay crab cakes and some cheesecake. He will be watching Kane to make sure he is doing what is best for business.
