ANOTHER BIG RAW SPOILER

By Mike Johnson on 2015-05-11 01:45:44
WWE Intercontinental champion Daniel Bryan is slated for tonight's Raw taping in Cincinnati, Ohio, PWInsider.com has confirmed. It will be the first time Bryan has appeared on TV since the 4/16 Smackdown broadcast, when Bryan teamed with John Cena against Tyson Kidd and Cesaro in a bout where he was booked to not have any real physical interactions.

PWInsider.com sources indicated that Bryan suffered an injury during a Dublin, Ireland stop on the last European tour. The nature of Bryan's injury was never publicly stated by WWE but the company did confirm to us that he was pulled from the remaining European tour dates as a "precautionary" measure.

At the time, sources told PWInsider.com that Bryan was expected out for a month, and this week would hit four weeks since he last competed.

PWInsider.com has also confirmed that Bryan is booked for the Payback PPV, so it would appear his appearance tonight will set up his role for that PPV. Bryan missed a scheduled bout at April's Extreme Rules PPV against Bad News Barrett due to the injury.

Over the weekend, PWInsider.com also broke that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon would also be returning to Raw after Stephanie's Eisenhower Fellowship and the required international travel led to their televised roles in The Authority disappearing from TV as part of a scripted "vacation."
