As of today, we know Jim Cornette and Jeff Jarrett. I know there are a few others who have been booked but they have told me off record. I suspect there will be announcements starting this weekend regarding talents.
Do you see the WWE bringing back the hardcore title? With Ambrose, Rowan, Harper among others there is a division for it and it would bring excitement to TV and the Network.
I don't think they will, unless it's an event or something specifically created for the WWE Network. I don't see the Hardcore title or that style really fitting in with the company's current PG mindset.
In regards to Undertaker going to WCW, he came from there, as "Mean" Mark Calaway, in 1990. I doubt he would have gone back. Your thoughts.
I don't know what private conversations were had, but I sincerely doubt Undertaker ever seriously considered leaving for WCW, especially in the 2000 timeframe that has been discussed of late.
Great TV shows like Game of Thrones produce only a dozen or so one-hour shows per year, yet the numerous characters each have an interesting backstory that makes the character more interesting and provides context for the decisions. Why then, with 5+ hours of original programming each week, is it so hard for WWE to develop characters with interesting backstories? And some continuity?
You answered your own question. The sheer amount of content that WWE puts out actually hurts them because they have to create and produce so much, with literally all of it "one take" so there's never going to be the quality control or the ability the sort of narrative you are comparing WWE to, like "Game of Thrones." It's a completely different animal.
Back in the early 90s, Scott Steiner was often referred to as a future megastar. Of course, this was back when he did the Frankensteiner and Tilt-a-Whirl Slam with ease and long before his massive bulk up. I always thought, even back then, Rick was a much better wrestler than Scott. Of course, neither was much good in the ring by the late 90s, but who did you think was the better wrestler in their prime?
It depends. I think they were both really good and obviously very tough. Scott was the most spectacular and powerful of the two but I always preferred Rick as I thought his 1988 babyface run was awesome.
