Who do you feel is the most likely person to beat Seth Rollins for the WWE title? When do you think they will win it? I personally don’t see them giving it back to Brock this year, and I don’t think Roman will win it until at least next year, so I really have no idea who will beat him for it.
I agree that Brock shouldn’t be the guy. With his schedule, we saw how things got strained at times when he was champion and not at TV. I still remember the night Rollins said he was going to cash in and he couldn’t because Brock wasn’t there. It definitely made the briefcase look bad. At this time, I don’t know who will win it but I will say this, it’s too soon to even think about it. Rollins deserves a chance on top to see what he can do with the belt and it should be given to him. Honestly, if Roman Reigns keeps improving and the fans keep accepting him, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him beat Rollins down the line.
What do you think the creative team should do with Ryback? Should he beat Cena for the US title or stay as a non-title top midcard guy?
Ryback has been yoyo’d a bit, for various reasons. I would like to see someone younger and fresher be the one to beat Cena and get that rub. I think it would lost on a guy that is a veteran, like Ryback. So I think he has a role in the mid-card/upper mid-card.
Sorry to drag out this whole men hitting women thing, but I have to ask: what is your feeling regarding Lucha Underground's mixed gender matches? Is it OK if women willingly compete with men?Â
I don’t get Lucha Underground so I haven’t seen how they portray it. If it’s like when Chyna was wrestling men, on a competitive basis, it’s much different than having a man just beat up a woman because he made her mad. The former can be billed as competition while the later is violence against women. If they are just having men work women over in matches, I am not for that.
What's going on with Ambrose? I've accepted that for whatever reason they've decided to never book him strong. But now for the past few months they've even taken away his greatest strength: his mic work. I can't even remember the last time Dean Ambrose cut a promo. What's the deal? This guy could be huge money if they let him.
Ambrose has been dating Renee Young. At the time when his push started to slow, there was a story among the wrestlers that management wasn’t happy about that (as they are trying to keep the workers from dating now) and that was working against him. I can’t say for sure that is what happened but I am with you, whatever their reason for cooling his push unless it’s a REAL issue (not something silly like dating a co-worker) they really should rethink their position.
What are your thoughts on Enzo Amore? Still learning the ropes perhaps but he certainly does have charisma.. Do you see him going anywhere in the future? And with the same gimmick?
I like Enzo. He’s fun and he works hard. I do think however that like Adam Rose, his gimmick may have problems transitioning from the small stage to the big one.
