Seiya Sanada was signed to the company in July 2014 as part of their working relationship with The Great Muta's Wrestle-1 in early 2014. He had a run with the X-Division championship and headlined the 2014 Bound for Glory PPV in Japan before becoming a member of James Storm's Revolution group. He was seemingly written off TV on the 4/10 episode of Impact, so it appears the departure was something TNA expected.
During a press conference in New York City last year discussing the Bound for Glory PPV, TNA President Dixie Carter described Sanada as one of the best examples of the company developing and doing right by an international talent in the company's history.
