On one of Mike's recent comments about AJ Lee, he wrote, "Really, the only question left for her career was, what was left for her to do?"  If I am not mistaken, AJ was in the WWE for approximately 5 or 6 years.  So in your opinion, what does it say about the future of this sport (I refuse to call it "business" because I am a Jim Cornette fan) when they are running out of things to do after such a relatively short time frame?  I could not have imagined my favorite wrestlers and managers (male and female) in 80's & 90's not sure what was left to do so they would retire so quickly.  I know it happened back then too but it seems more common in this day and age and there appears to be a higher turn around rate.  Thoughts?

It is not a sport. A sport doesn’t have pre-determined outcomes. It’s extremely athletic, but it’s not a sport. Sorry, I disagree with Jim on that one. AJ retired mainly due to the fact that WWE’s Dr. Amman is suing her husband, and by extension her. It makes for a less than healthy work environment to have to see him at TV every week. As for the Divas, WWE does tend to run through them quickly so that element of what Mike wrote was true as well. That could change quickly if creative changed their stance on how the ladies are booked.

While I don't want to discourage WWE from providing new content on the network,  I'm confused by the Jerry Springer hosted Too hot For TV. This is an idea straight from the 90's. Jerry Springer and Too Hot For TV peaked a long time ago. They might be able to get him cheap but I just don't see this as banner programming for the network. It seems like they would do better with something more contemporary or at least a more relevant host. I would think they would be better served with things like the Chris Jericho podcast or finding someone like him to host new shows.

I don’t see any value in adding Jerry Springer either. He is yesterday’s news. I don’t see many, if any, people saying, “I need to buy the WWE Network to see that show!”

I'm really starting to think to myself, this "Axel Movement" thing isn't so bad and could end up really good for the son of Mr.Perfect!. Is it possible this can lead to an at least decent push for him? I'm kinda hoping so personally

Possible? Sure. Probable? I think not as history has shown WWE doesn’t tend to get behind gimmicks like that one.

Now that the momentum Dolph Ziggler had from Survivor Series has gone, do you think he will ever end up with the World Heavyweight championship, or even challenging for it? I feel he is the best wrestler in WWE and I am hoping that now the title is on a full time wrestler, he will have a chance to win it.

Ever, I can’t say, but it doesn’t seem like that is in the plan as WWE could have pushed him already but didn’t. It seems that the slot he is in now is where the company sees him.

I chose not to read the Justin Roberts blog on his issues with the WWE inducting Connor Michalek because it's just too long and I didn't have the time.  Would you mind offering a quick summary?  And what are your feelings on what he wrote?

In a nutshell, he was Connor’s friend and brought him into the realm of WWE. He felt that WWE then used their relationship with Connor for good publicity.
