Is CM Punk being a hypocrite? While he was in the WWE he didn't like having part time wrestlers taking the spotlight (The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Batista) While other wrestlers had to put them over who wrestles a year round. Now that he's in the UFC isn't he doing the same to the other fighters that those part time wrestlers did to him? I mean wouldn't other fighter be mad that CM Punk just walked in the UFC without having a professional fight while most of them went though hell to get there?

We actually got this question on a mailbag a week or two back and we talked about it a lot. The simple answer is NO. What Punk was talking about was guys working TV every week, doing house shows and every PPV, only to be pushed down the card by part timers at WrestleMania. UFC does none of those things. Punk will be a new fighter getting a fight, period. But, he also has name value so UFC will sell that PPVs. It’s good business. The “he is a hypocrite” theory has no credibility and is factually unsound.

In short my question can be, what is the stipulation or purpose of HHH vs Sting at Wrestlemania? Why should I care about who wins or not?

That is easy, Sting has messed with HHH and HHH wants to fight him. Sting wants to fight him too. So they are going to fight. On a greater scale, you have one of the main soldiers of WWE from the Attitude Era vs. a pure WCW guy. That is pretty intriguing.

So there will be no Divas championship match at Wrestlemania, why?? I mean every title should be on the line at the grandest stage of all, then why not divas title??

You have seen how WWE books the Divas right? To them, it’s more important to push Total Divas than the division itself. Financially, it’s hard to argue with them. In a nutshell, the way the traditional wrestling fan looks at WrestleMania is not necessarily how Vince McMahon looks at it.

With next years Wrestlemania in Texas I think it would be appropriate for it to be Taker’s last match as well as his intro into the HOF. I also think that next year could be the year that Sting gets inducted however I think when both get inducted they should both be the one to close out the ceremony based on what they have done and their loyalties. With that being said do you think WWE would induct them in the same year?  If so can they do it without being a slap in either person’s face?

WWE is running short on guys that can headline a class for the Hall Of Fame. If either guy is going in next year, he should be the only one of them. For one thing, both guys are legit headliners. For another, WWE doesn’t have all that many of those left. They need headliners to sell tickets. There is no good reason to induct them together.

I receive Rolling Stones daily newsletter and have noticed in the past few months they feature 1 or 2 stories a week about WWE. Any idea why the sudden interest? Does RS have a writer or an editor who is interested in the topic or is it part of WWEs marketing to get these articles published.

They aren’t stupid. They figure if around 4 million people watch every Monday, why not try to engage them and get them to their site? It’s good business.
