WHAT WILL THE NETWORK NUMBERS BE LIKE AFTER MANIA, WHY JOHN CENA IS IN THE MATCH AGAINST RUSEV, WWE AS ENTERTAINMENT AND MORE

So is WWE preparing for Brock Lesnar's exit by giving the two most popular superstars the mid card titles?

I don’t see how one would help the other. If Brock were to leave, they would want to have him make Roman Reigns as strong as possible. I think they want to make the US Title match seem more important and credible, so they put John Cena in it. Rusev gets to work with their “real” top guy. And once they did that, how could fans complain that Bryan was in the IC match, when Cena was in the US match?

How come Vince has a problem with words like "belt" and "wrestler/wrestling" but allows guys to constantly use the phrase "stealing the show?" Aren't these stars fighting each other? Why would you care about putting on a show in the ring? Ronda Rousey never says anything about putting on a show, but things like she's gonna break her opponent's arm. Brock and other MMA fighters, boxers nor even NBA, MLB and NFL players are concerned with putting on or even stealing a show. Only the Harlem Globetrotters care about stuff like that. We know it's a show but the characters shouldn't acknowledge it on-screen. If you're familiar with comics it reminds you of She-Hulk and how should "knew" within the comic story line that she was a comic character and broke the 4th wall. I think when Dolph Ziggler says that over and over again it just makes me think they should roll credits at the end of Raw (e.g. starring Nick Nemeth as Dolph Ziggler, Windham Rotunda as Bray Wyatt, John Cena as himself, etc.).

You miss the obvious here, Vince calls it entertainment, so it’s a show! Stealing the show plays right into that.

I've seen a lot of negative reaction online over Rikishi and the Bushwhackers going into the Hall of Fame. Has WWE ever considered having certain inductees go in with special designations? Just like Pete Rose and others are in the "celebrity wing," guys like Rikishi, Luke and Butch, and Koko B. Ware could go in as "fan favorites" or something to lessen the "they're not HoF-worthy" backlash. Or is a system like that overthinking the Hall of Fame standards of a worked business?

The Hall Of Fame is what they say it is, so yes I think you are overthinking it.

Nothing bothers me more than when someone refers to the "IWC" as an actual entity. I for one do not believe it exists. Am I part of the IFC cause I view websites that are focused on the NFL, or IBC since I get Cubs news from multiple websites? What is your view on the IWC, do think it is something tangible or just a way to belittle fans that don't agree with a company's booking? And isn't it a bit ridiculous that WWE bashes the supposed IWC when their main platform and source of revenue is now a internet based streaming service.

WWE is a company whose number two revenue source is the Network, and it’s streamed on the internet. That would mean that they have at least 1 million people that are internet based. I have always hated the term as it acts as a catch all. I deplore the term.

WWE has said it's releasing its network numbers after Wrestlemania (Should be a big number) but do you see it taking a big hit after it? I know I won't be subscribed after as the product just isn't good enough and any new material they put up will still be there in 6 months time so I see no rush until the product becomes must see.

My hunch is that it will, yes. This is the biggest show of the year and without the commitment requirements, I think there will be a decent number of people who buy for Mania, then don’t renew the next month. So WWE had better have a good plan in place to get those people to renew their subscriptions.
