This might be a dumb question, but I'll ask it anyway. Has there ever been any discussion within WWE about recognizing people for the Hall of Fame who achieved most of their success training others who went on to have successful careers in WWE? This could be people who had shorter or more regional careers of their own in the ring, but were more successful in showing others the ropes, so to speak. Or would something like that even fly in today's world where ratings are of the utmost importance?

Not that I have ever heard of, no.

How much furniture do you think Bruno Sammartino kicked around when he heard about the tribute to "the man that built MSG"? I would have to think he was a bit heated knowing the way he tends to feel about Hogan and likely felt slighted.

I would hope that Bruno wouldn’t care about that. He was the man that built MSG for the WWWF. But Hogan was the man who did so for the WWF, and that led the company as it went national. They both deserve the Title in my opinion.

If his life hadn't taken such a tragic turn, do you think that Kerry Von Erich could have made his way to being a legitimate superstar in the WWF? He seemed to have a similar charisma as the Ultimate Warrior and had the IC belt put on him quite fast after starting with the WWF.

I think he had what it takes to be a top guy everywhere but between the ears. That is what held him back. If he could have overcome that, I could have seen him getting a run at the top.

So what's the deal with Christian? First he was unceremoniously buried/declared retired by WWE out of nowhere, but now I'm hearing that he is in fact NOT retired. Any truth to those rumors?

Who knows with WWE, seriously. He is still listed as an active wrestler and the way they announced he was retired was ridiculous. But they haven’t followed up on it all. I think it’s safe to say that if he does come back, it won’t be in a big spot, which is a shame.

What happened to the Goldust vs. Stardust match at Wrestlemania? Seems a shame the Rhodes brothers won't get their Wrestlemania dream match, especially if reports of Goldust retiring from the ring are true.

They decided to go in another direction and put Stardust in the IC Ladder match (unless they change their minds again). I think it’s a shame. Having Goldust putting up his career at WrestleMania against his brother would have been very compelling, and it would have given them a chance to follow up on their disappointing match from Fastlane.
