RING OF HONOR TV SPOILERS FOR THIS WEEKEND

By Mike Johnson on 2015-02-14 08:15:00

Tomasso Ciampa vs. Jimmy Jacobs

Lots of brawling early. Ciampa worked over Jacobs, who locked him in a front choke. The crowd began making fun of Jacobs by singing the Adam Rose theme song as he worked as a Rosebud. Ciampa worked over Jacobs and brought him to the tiurnbuckles but was grabbed again in the front choke and then hit a fisherman’s suplex into the ring for a two count.

Ciampa made a comeback and again, he and Jacobs battled on the floor. Ciampa drilled him over and over with knee strikes to the barricade and the referee finally stopped the match.

Your winner, Ciampa!

Ciampa faced off with Jay Briscoe after.

Hanson vs. The Romantic Touch

The Romantic Touch gave two women that he came out with Valentine’s Day chocolates. He offered one to Hanson. Hanson took it and then wiped him out with a big spinkick that sent the chocolates flying.1-2-3 and that was it.

Your winner, Hanson!

Total massacre. The Romantic Touch stuff was pretty funny. My guess is it airs Valentine’s Day weekend.

Moose vs. Michael Elgin

The crowd was super into Moose. Elgin stopped Moose in his tracks and nailed a standing delayed vertical suplex. Moose popped right up and dropkicked him out of the ring, which was a sight to see. Moose trashed him on the floor. Elgin nailed an enziguiri when they returned to the ring. Moose cut him off with a sitdown powerbomb out of a chokeslam for a two count.

They battled. Elgin went to the top. Veda Scott tried to interfere but was shoved off the apron. Moose avoided a flying splash off the ropes. They traded back and forth big power moves. Elgin dead-lifted him off the mat and powerbombed him back down for a two count. The crowd chanted, “This is awesome.”

Elgin got in Jay Briscoes’ face. Briscoe hit the ring but Moose speared him when Elgin got out of the way. The ref threw the match out. There was a huge brawl with everyone involved in the PPV main event and Moose and Mark Briscoe brawling.

No winner.

A pretty damn physical match.

The Young Bucks & AJ Styles vs. ACH & Matt Sydal & Cedric Alexander

Sydal and Matt Jackson started. Jackson nailed him with a right and Sydal tried to hit several dropkicks but Jackson avoided them. Jackson went for one and was nailed and hit with a standing moonsault. Nick Jackson worked him over. Styles tagged in and began controlling Sydal. They went back and forth with some great exchanges and faced off.

Cedric tagged in and nailed a nice dropkick to the back of AJ’s head. They exchanged back and forth chops. Styles came back to hit an awesome dropkick. ACH tagged in but Matt Jackson poked him in the eyes to cut him off. ACH finally tagged out to Sydal who wiped out Styles with a great spinkick. The Bullet Club triple-teamed Sydal and worked him over. They began systematically taking apart Sydal with all sorts of combination moves

It went nutty at this point with all sorts of crazy spots and dives I’d never be able to recap. Whenit was done there was a HUGE ROH chant. It ended with the Bucks hitting a double superkick as Styles held Cedric for a Styles Clash. This was just friggin’ awesome. If anyone can top that match this weekend, God bless them, because this was one of the best matches I’ve seen in a year or so.
