PHILADELPHIA CBS AFFILIATE COVERS BIG VITO'S CONCUSSION LAWSUIT

By Mike Johnson on 2015-01-30 11:17:12
The CBS affiliate in Philadelphia ran a story last night on the lawsuit brought against WWE by former talent "Big" Vito Lograsso and developmental talent Evan "Adam Mercer" Singleton.

During the story, Lograsso, who says that at one point, he "was one of the best" wrestlers in the world, says he's been told he has brain damage and that he's regularly dealing with headaches, deafness, and depression.

It should be noted that while LoGrasso has wrestled from the early 1990s until at least last year, he was only under contract to WWE for about two of those years.

The story also featured LoGrasso's attorney commenting, " “In the NFL, if you have a concussion they make you sit out. And if you have too many you can’t ever get back in the game. ….somebody’s got to say stop. Somebody’s got to say stop instead of keep enticing them to get back in."

Based on that quote, they are very much behind the ball in knowing how WWE currently treats concussions and injuries.
