Anyone could be used, but for this questions sake, let's fill the spot with John Cena as he is the most polarizing performer in WWE. The crowd either likes him, or likes to hate him. Event could be the ending of the Royal Rumble, or Wrestlemania, where the majority of the crowd aren't your typical fan base. Very smart, very vocal, very knowledgeable, very opinionated. How would the WWE react (or try to do damage control) if the fan base turned on them. And I mean, a 100% turn. Either the majority of the crowd turned their backs to the action or match result in disgust and boo'ed, or worse yet, the majority of the crowd walked out of the arena out of frustration while the celebration was going on in the ring?  (paint the scenario however you want, but let's say Cena loses to Brock but wins the Royal Rumble Match, and then fights Brock at Wrestlemania and wins).

I think Vince McMahon would lose his mind if that happened. It would be a catastrophe as that footage would get play on outlets as it would be a big news story.

If you toss out the idea of ppv prices, which sells YOUR TEAM on the network?  Me, I thought it was the ppv's...  until I got the first NXT shows, and found myself jumping out of my chair like I was doing a routine exercise.  I watch alone, so to get me to 'pop' is pretty hard, given how silly I feel.  So, now after having the network for a while, is it the PPV's you like, or the NXT shows, if you had to choose?  I obviously chose the NXT shows.  Thanks.

I love NXT and the NXT specials. On the whole, they are consistently superior to the PPVs, albeit with a much smaller count of shows. To me, the difference is in the booking. In NXT, they do a great job with it, and the matches are better for it. On the main roster, the guys work hard but their issues are often poorly defined, if they are defined at all.

One main goal of producing a wrestling show is to put wrestlers on TV who the people will pay to see.  So why would Vince go and publicly put down a guy like Cesaro, who the fans, I mean WWE Universe (forgive me for using the F word), were ready to get behind?  If the boss doesn't care about this guy, why should the fans?  Could you imagine if he did the same thing to Daniel Bryan a year ago and the whole Yes movement never happened?  Talk about not being best for business, they would have lost out on a goldmine.

He did do the same thing to Bryan, they called him a B+ player, remember? Vince also said that none of his guys have grabbed the brass ring, which blows my mind since he is the one that determines if they get a chance at grabbing it. I don’t get a lot of things Vince has done lately, the above included.

I haven't been watching NXT for very long but I have noticed that people don’t kick out of finishers a lot if at all.  I personally like that as it makes finishers actually finishers as opposed to more of a false finish.  On the main roster a recent example is from Hell in a Cell in Orton and Cena.  If I remember right there were 4 finishers hit in that match.  What is your feeling on the use of finishers between the two?

It depends on the situation. In the case of two top guys, I expect them to kick out as they are top guys. To me, that adds drama. I don’t want to see it overdone, but I like it when it’s done right.

Do you feel like last nights Raw (Dec 29) they were trying a little too hard and seemed all over the place?  The show also felt really long.  Both Ryback and Cesaro get mic time and really ended up meaningless.  Ryback giving his backstory only just to say he was going to beat up Rusev.  Seemed anticlimactic.  Then I got all excited to hear Cesaro on the mic, stumbled a bit, only to get squashed by Barrett.  Miz and Mizdow lose the tag titles and job in seconds to the Ascension all in one night just seemed odd.  And lastly bringing back the Authority just after 5 weeks seemed very hot shot booking like to me.  It was refreshing not seeing them on camera but now they are already back.   What is going on here?

To paraphrase the old Hollywood show, “That’s Sports Entertainment!” Yeah, I like wrestling better too.
