IS REIGNS THE NEXT BATISTA, GOLDBERG VS. HOGAN BEING GIVEN AWAY ON TV AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-01-01 10:00:00
I like Roman Reigns. But he's going to get the Batista treatment come Royal Rumble, and may even hurt his future reactions moving forward. Now that Daniel Bryan has announced he's in the Rumble, and more than likely Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler being in it, Roman Reigns will get booed out of the building if he wins the Rumble. What are your thoughts? Do you think Reigns should get the nod or someone else? If not Reigns, who? And how do you think the fans will react to him going into Wrestlemania if he wins?

It's possible that could happen, especially since his momentum has stalled since Reigns has returned, but he does have a lot of supporters. Remember, last year, he was getting cheered against Batista in the Rumble. I don't think fans will outright reject him, but they do love their Bryan and Ziggler, so we will see. They could always turn Reigns as well - you never know.

Do you find ironic, or greatly depressing, that the WWE Network keeps bashing WCW for giving away the Hogan-Goldberg match for free, when this week they gave away Reigns vs. Rollins and Reigns vs. Rusev for free with zero buildup?

There is certainly some irony there in regard to hot-shotting bouts on TV, but the reality is, WCW did give the match away at a time when it was their biggest potentially money-making bout. You can't say that about the WWE matches you listed. I don't see it as exactly the same thing.

Now that Paige will soon be a part of the show Total Divas does this officially eliminate her from any future matches involving the Divas title? Its been stated that no Total Divas star would be allowed to go after or even win the Divas title. Does this include Paige? After what happened on Raw you could say the same for Natalya Neidhart. What's the deal?

You DO realize the current champion is one of the central figures on the series, right?

Is it just me or are both Kane & Joey Mercury shorter now than they were before? Kane looked much bigger when he debuted @ Badd Blood: In Your House when he interfered in the Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker & Shawn Michaels. Joey Mercury also looked bigger when he was in MNM.

They are no longer wearing lifts in their boots.

Hmm.... a year ago, Daniel Bryan next big thing. Vince didn't think he could sell tickets, couldn't handle the rigor of being champ and the fans would start to move on once the 'David' story was done. I have yet to see where this guy, on the shelf with injuries, not missed much by the fans [rarely a chant] has proven Vince wrong in any way?

Did you see the reaction when Bryan came out this past Monday? It was the ONLY thing on the show to get that level of a response from the audience live. To dismiss Bryan is ludicrous. The crowd loves him and all he's done is prove every detractor wrong. Injuries happen.
