UPDATED: ORTON MISSES LIVE EVENT

WWE announced at the start of their live event in Uniondale, Long Island at the Nassau Coliseum that Randy Orton would not be appearing due to injury.

Orton wrestled Kane last night and did a run-in during the main event of last night's Madison Square Garden event.

We have reached out to WWE for confirmation as to what the nature of the injury was. Orton was backstage in Long Island prior to the show.

10:15 PM Update: We are told Orton made an appearance at the close of the show, so it appears they ran a storyline deal to get the "surprise" pop when Orton made the run-in.
