FORMER NWA CHAMPION ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

Former NWA champion Adam Pearce officially announced his retirement at a Championship Wrestling Hollywood TV Taping today in California, facing Colt Cabana in his final match.

Pearce had been teasing retirement for some time and has made several trips to Orlando to work for WWE as a guest trainer and producer at NXT TV tapings. Pearce worked as a producer on the NXT Takeover: R-Evolution last week, so it appears he may be WWE-bound. We've no 100% confirmation on that, but the puzzle pieces do seem to fit.
