I have heard from a lot of people within WWE about this week’s low Raw rating. Generally, the day after a PPV there is a bump but that was not the case this week. In fact, the show lost viewers as the program went on, even though they announced a John Cena-Seth Rollins Cage Match at the open. I am sure Vince McMahon will disagree with me, but it’s totally due to the booking. When you have the heel get soundly beaten, even though he had two people helping him, there isn’t much drama in seeing a rematch. In order for people to invest in a match, they need to believe that either guy can win. That just isn’t the case with Cena most of the time.

Remember that earlier in the year, the WWE stock was about three times what it is now, so he lost a lot from that point on. About not appearing on Raw next week, Mick Foley posted the following on his Facebook:
“I appreciate so many people jumping to my defense at the announcement of Hulk Hogan as the special guest for the Christmas episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. All of your "what about St Mick" and "Foley is Santa" comments are much appreciated.
But the truth is, I was asked by WWE if I would like to travel to Minneapolis for Raw, but had to turn the opportunity down, due to a prior commitment. I'll miss it. I'll watch, and probably wish I was there. But as important as appearing on Christmas Raw is to me, honoring a commitment means just a little bit more.
I have really enjoyed being part of the holiday season in my own small way in WWE, and hope to be part of the Christmas episode in 2016.
So don't hold it against the Hulkster or WWE, I wasn't forgotten or disrespected in any way. Just previously engaged.”
