I have gotten a few emails asking if net reports that Matt Striker will be Jim Ross’ color commentator for next month’s New Japan PPV are true. Yes, from what we have been told they are.
Ross wanted Mike Tenay and reached out to TNA to see if he could get him, but was told that he could not. So Striker was chosen. It will be announced on tomorrow’s Jim Ross podcast with Jeff Jarrett but someone associated with them already leaked it out.
I guess someone in their inner circle can’t keep a secret because the big reveal was supposed to take place tomorrow when the podcast dropped.
