As a wrestling fan since 1984, it really saddens and scares me, to see how much the WWE product is devouring its self. I had a chance to sample the WWE Network, and it just seems like they keep on relying on the product they used to be and just keep on trying to make money off of recycled fumes of the glorious (Monday Night War) And ECW re-runs, I don’t see much hope in the Network, unless they focus on progressing in their present product , you can only watch the same thing, Over, and over and over, again. It almost seems that the only thing that will change WWE’s product know is a bankruptcy scare. Your thoughts?

Honestly, I don’t watch any of the old programming. I watch NXT, the PPVs, the NXT specials and some of the documentaries. That alone is worth my money and I love the Network. If you are buying it for old product, then yes you will tire of it.

I've enjoyed watching the Monday Night War series on the WWE Network. It shows that a lot of time and effort went into it. I just finished the "Building An Army" episode. Comments were made:

1. It took a strong under card.
2. Everyone had a part, their characters meant something and they were invested.
3. Mid card guys would be elevated.

As I watch this and look at the current product I wonder if some at the WWE can't see the writing on the wall? A lot of what is blamed on the early WWF stagnation and later on for the WCW implosion seems to be happening right before our eyes. It is just me?

You are not alone. A lot of people have pointed out the ironies of the things that air on that show. A lot of the problems that made the WWF vulnerable back then are in place with WWE today. But the difference is there is no competition to make them number 2, so they are lucky.

So I'm a little late on this, I know they were on this past weeks Raw too but...when A New Day premiered last week.........am I wrong, was it how it just came across on tv, or did they get absolutely ZERO reaction whatsoever from the live crowd? Do you have any opinion on the gimmick yet? It seems to me like no one is willing to even give it a chance. They walked out and I swear I could hear crickets.

I heard what you heard, but I am not surprised. The vignettes they have done leading up to their debut have been bad. Their act is what, three happy guys in blue? They weren’t given anything to work with and people are reacting accordingly.

After watching episode after episode of The Monday Night War, isn't it clear maybe Vince needs to rewatch it? They talk about the importance of the midcard, making everyone on the roster mean something, the women's division, creating new stars and not having one guy constantly the star of the show. This is virtually the opposite of what's going on right now. Shouldn't Vince pay attention to his own product and follow his previous philosophy?

You sure would think so wouldn’t you? He said on Steve Austin’s podcast that he is not “out of touch” but as your comment proves, he isn’t even in touch with himself any more.

If the NWO were to be inducted into the WWE HOF (only the elite members Hall, Nash, and Hogan), would Bischoff go in as well? I realize that there were other wrestlers who "turned NWO"before him, but in the original story lines, he was NWO from the beginning. Thoughts?

I think he should, for sure. He was a huge part of it. Bischoff would deserve induction.
