WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: WE GET WHAT WE WERE PROMISED ON RAW; A NEW DAY HAS ARRIVED; WHAT DOES KANE HAVE TO DO TONIGHT?

We start off this week’s show with a recap of Sting’s debut at the Survivor Series.

We are in Fort Wayne, Indiana and your announcers are Michael Cole, Tom Phillips, and John Layfield.

The Miz and Damien Sandow are in the ring for this week’s installment of MizTV.

Miz welcomes us to MizTV. He says that there were a lot of major moments at Survivor Series, most notably, he became the WWE Tag Team Champion. Miz says that wasn’t the only shocking thing to happen. Miz says htat he has an exclusive interview with a giant man who made a giant decision to change sides during the main event when he knocked out John Cena. Miz introduces The Big Show.

Big Show makes his way to the ring and he is dressed for battle.

We see Big Show’s comments on Monday night and Erick Rowan coming out to confront Big Show.

Big Show is serenaded with chants of “You Sold Out” and Miz tells the crowd to be quiet.

Miz says that the people in the back have negative things to say about him and John Cena called him a traitor. Miz says the only mistake that Show made was to join Team Cena.

Show says finally. He says that he never should have joined Team Cena. He did what was best for him. He had to care for his family. Everyone wants to jump to conclusions about him, just like Erick Rowan, but they don’t know him and his situation.

Daniel Bryan’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Daniel says that you guys are the best and it has been a while since he has heard something like that. On Monday, Show said if you had something to say to come out. Bryan says that he has something to say.

Daniel asks everyone if they are ready for Daniel Bryan Smackdown. Daniel says that he is running the show tonight. He has some great matches for tonight. First, we will put everyone’s favorite hungry man, the Ryback, against the corporate sell out, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins. There is more. Daniel asks if you want to see a championship match tonight. Luke Harper will defend his title against the Sole Survivor from Survivor Series, Dolph Ziggler.

Miz mockingly cheers the announcements and he tells Daniel to stop stealing his spotlight.

Daniel says that he couldn’t steal his spotlight because Sandow is already doing that. Daniel says that he does not appreciate Miz interrupting him because he has a special announcement.

Show tells Daniel that we don’t have to hear what he has planned. He interrupted Miz and him. It is about Show, not about Daniel Bryan’s Smackdown.

Bryan says that this is about Show and a lot of other people. On Monday, he told Rusev if he didn’t say the Pledge of Allegiance, he would have to defend his United States Title in a Battle Royal. Since Rusev refused, he will be defending the title in a 20 man over the top rope battle royal.

That match starts right now.

Bryan says that its participants will be Miz, Sandow, Big Show, and one more of the participants is just for Show . . . Erick Rowan.

We go to commercial.

Match Number One: Battle Royal for the United States Title (Featuring Rusev, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Big Show, Damien Sandow, The Miz, Erick Rowan, Sin Cara, Heath Slater, Titus O’Neil, Cesaro, Goldust, Stardust, Fernando, Diego, Tyson Kidd, Curtis Axel, Adam Rose, Jack Swagger, and Justin Gabriel)

The bell rings and everyone pairs off. Show punches Diego and The Usos try to eliminate Goldust and Stardust. Miz punches Stardust while Sandow mirrors him. Jimmy with an uppercut to Rusev but Gabriel is eliminated by Show. Show also eliminates Sin Cara. Cesaro with a European uppercut to Rusev. Slater is eliminated by Rowan. Rose goes after Rowan while Axel is eliminated.

Rose goes to the apron and the Matadores pick up Rose and they eliminate him. Cesaro tries to eliminate Stardust but Stardust gets to the apron and he stays in the match. Kidd chokes Stardust while Show eliminates Fernando and Diego. Cesaro punches Kidd while Show punches Goldust. Kidd punches Rowan while Rowan tries to eliminate Stardust. Goldust and Show exchange punches.

Rowan and Show stand face to face in the center of the ring while everyone else is down. Show with a kick but Rowan with punches. Rowan with a splash into the corner followed by another one. Rowan clotheslines Show over the top rope to eliminate him. Rusev eliminates Rowan.

Cesaro, Titus, and Tyson try to eliminate Rusev but he stays in the ring. More people try to eliminate Rusev but he gets back to his feet as we go to commercial.

We are back and Jey punches Kidd but Stardust stops him. Miz is on the apron and Cesaro kicks him but Sandow makes the save. Kidd tries to eliminate Jimmy but Jey stops Kidd and then he puts Kidd on the turnbuckles. Stardust sends Miz to the apron but he slides back into the ring. Miz with a kick and he sends Stardust to the apron. Swagger punches Rusev in the corner.

Miz tries to eliminate Goldust but Goldust reverses and Miz is eliminated when Stardust pulls down the ropes. Stardust returns to the ring and Sandow eliminates himself. Stardust and Goldust are in shock at what they just saw so Swagger eliminates Stardust and Goldust. Swagger is sent to the apron by Cesaro and Swagger tries for a side salto to the floor but Cesaro stays in the ring. Jimmy goes up top but Titus kicks him off the turnbuckles to the floor. Titus goes for a boot to Jey against the ropes but Jey drops down and Titus gets crotched on the top rope. Jey eliminates Titus. Cesaro punches Swagger in the corner. Jey sends Tyson to the apron and Kidd with an enzugiri and he eliminates Jey with a body scissors.

We are down to the final four and it is Cesaro, Swagger, Kidd, and Rusev.

Cesaro charges at Kidd and he goes over the top rope but he hangs on and gets back into the ring. Swagger goes after Rusev but Kidd helps Rusev while Cesaro watches for a moment. Cesaro kicks Rusev and connects with a European uppercut. Kidd kicks Swagger and then he hits a jumping back heel kick to Swagger. Cesaro, Kidd, and Rusev try to eliminate Swagger, but Jack holds on to the turnbuckles and he goes to the apron. Swagger fights his way from the apron back into the ring.

Swagger runs Cesaro into the turnbuckles and then he sends a charging Kidd into Cesaro in the corner. Rusev charges at Swagger and Jack moves so Rusev hits Kidd and Cesaro in the corner. Swagger with a belly-to-belly slam to Rusev followed by punch to Kidd and one to Cesaro.

Swagger with the double jump Swagger Bomb to Rusev but Cesaro tries to eliminate Swagger but Swagger stays in the ring. Swagger with a gutwrench that sends Cesaro to the apron. Kidd goes for a springboard move but Swagger catches him and Swagger eliminates Kidd. Rusev tries to eliminate Swagger but he is unable to do it. Cesaro gets Swagger to the apron but Swagger holds on to the ropes.

Winner: Rusev

Kane is working at a concession stand as his punishment. Santino Marella stops by and he wants to buy something but when Kane takes off his beanie, Santino realizes it is Kane. Santino screams and runs away..

Bray Wyatt’s screen saver shows up and he tells us that he is here as we go to commercial.

We are back and Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring as we see what happened between Ambrose and Wyatt since Survivor Series.

Bray gets a mic and he says that when you climbed that ladder at Survivor Series, you looked like an angel, ascending to the heavens. For a moment, you almost put a smile on my face. Just like I told you before Dean, they ain’t got much room for people like us up there. People like us belong somewhere different. As he laid there suffering only in his thoughts, he felt the steel chairs falling on him. The pain felt euphoric. At that time, he felt like he failed you. Bray says that he only failed himself.

If you want to spend all of your pathetic existence wallowing in a pit of your own misery, be my guest. Your demons mold you. Bray says that he molds the demons. They march on his command. You think you have him figured out, but the devil works in mysterious ways. What is mine will always be mine.

Congratulations Dean, this is a celebration. We have reached the point of no return. What happens next will change you. Tables, ladders, and chairs. Tables, ladders, and chairs. Tables, ladders, and chairs. Oh my.

At TLC, as I smash you through tables and dissect you with steel chairs, I will look down on your lifeless body and I will finally be able to smile. I will be able to smile because I will have put you where you belong. Back in the dirt with all of the insects.

Bray tells us to follow . . . the buzzards.

Match Number Two: Emma versus Nikki Bella (with Brie Bella) in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Nikki with a shoulder tackle. Emma with a rollup for a near fall. Nikki kicks Emma and she picks up Emma with a hammer lock and slams her to the mat. Nikki sends Emma into the turnbuckles shoulder first. Emma sends Nikki into the turnbuckles and Emma with the DilEmma. Emma licks her hand and she slaps Nikki in the ass. Then she slaps Nikki in the face.

Emma runs into an elbow from Nikki and Nikki with a round kick from the turnbuckles. Nikki with Shock Treatment for the three count.

Winner: Nikki Bella

After the match, Nikki takes the mic and she gives Brie the title belt to hold. Nikki says that it is time that everyone knows the real truth about AJ Lee. We have heard over and over and over again your sob story. Nikki says that she has worked harder. She tells AJ to look at what a real Divas Champ looks like. Nikki tells AJ that through these fearless eyes, you will always be that pathetic manipulating girl from New Jersey.

AJ Lee’s music plays and he charges to the ring. Brie runs interference for Nikki and AJ with a Thesz Press and punches. Brie and Nikki escape the ring.

We see the merchandise stand Kane was working at and it has been trashed.

We hear Ryback’s music and he makes his way to the ring.

Match Number Three: The Ryback versus Seth Rollins (with Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble)

They lock up and Ryback backs Rollins into the corner but Rollins avoids a punch. Ryback pushes Rollins to the mat and gets a near fall. Rollins with a side head lock. Rollins tries for a leap frog but Ryback catches Rollins and hits a power slam. Rollins goes to the floor and regroups.

Rollins returns to the ring and he kicks and punches Ryback. Rollins with more kicks but Ryback sends Rollins into the turnbuckles and he chops Rollins. He chops Rollins again. Rollins with a back heel kick and he chops Ryback. He chops Ryback again and Ryback wants more. After another chop Ryback ‘Stings’ up and Ryback with a chop that sends Rollins to the mat.

Ryback with a biel but he misses a charge into the corner and Ryback goes shoulder first into the ring post and Ryback falls to the floor. Rollins goes to the floor and he runs Ryback into the ringside barrier and then slams his head into the apron. Rollins with a punch to the midsection and he slams Ryback’s head into the apron again. Rollins rolls Ryback into the ring and he gets a near fall.

Rollins with a running forearm into the corner and he kicks Ryback. Rollins with more kicks and then he punches Ryback in the ribs. Rollins with a wrist lock and a kick to the ribs. Ryback with chops but Rollins with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Rollins with a front face lock. Ryback with punches and he picks up Rollins and runs him into the turnbuckles.

Ryback tries to send Rollins into the opposite corner but Rollins with a sunset flip for a near fall. Rollins with a flatline into the turnbuckles and he gets a near fall. Rollins goes to the turnbuckles and connects with a punch to Ryback. Rollins goes to the turnbuckles again but Ryback catches Rollins and hits a power slam. Rollins rolls to the floor and Ryback follows.

Mercury hits the ring steps to distract Ryback and Rollins with a high knee to the back that sends Ryback into the ring steps. Rollins sends Ryback into the ring steps again as we go to commercial.

We are back and Rollins with a side head lock. Ryback tries to get out of the head lock but Rollins holds on. Rollins continues to hold on to the head lock but Ryback escapes with a slingshot belly-to-back suplex. Ryback sets for the clothesline but Rollins rolls to the apron. Ryback grabs Rollins and he tries to suplex Rollins back into the ring but Rollins lands on his feet. Ryback with a back body drop.

Rollins tries to get to the floor by Ryback brings him back in. Rollins escapes a power bomb and he hits an enzuigiri followed by a super kick for a near fall. Rollins punches Ryback. Rollins misses a forearm in the corner and he lands on the turnbuckles. Ryback gets Rollins on his shoulders and he climbs the turnbuckles for a super muscle buster but Rollins counters and tries for a sunset flip power bomb but Ryback holds the ropes.

Mercury distracts the referee and Noble helps Rollins get Ryback off the ropes. Rollins with a buckle bomb but Ryback kicks out. Ryback tries for a press slam but Rollins lands on his feet. Ryback goes after Noble and Mercury on the apron but they get to the floor. Rollins charges at Ryback and Ryback with a back body drop that sends Rollins onto Noble and Mercury.

Ryback goes to the floor and he sends Rollins back into the ring. Ryback with a spinebuster and then he signals for the clothesline. Ryback hits the clothesline and he sets for the muscle buster but from out of nowhere, Kane makes his way to the ring and he has a chair.

The referee calls for the bell when Kane swings and misses.

Winner: Ryback (by disqualification)

Ryback with a spinebuster to Kane. Ryback grabs the chair and he wants to hit Kane with it. Rollins grabs the chair and Ryback sends Rollins into the corner. Kane with a boot to Ryback and Rollins gives Kane the chair. Kane hits Ryback in the back with the chair. He hits Ryback multiple times in the back.

Kane throws the chair to the mat and then he picks up Ryback by the throat. Kane with a choke slam onto the chair.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Curtis Axel, Titus O’Neil, and Heath Slater versus Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods

Axel and Woods start things off and Axel with a wrist lock. Woods with a reversal and he sends Axel to the mat. Woods with a drop kick and wrist lock. Kofi tags in and he goes up top for a double stomp to the arm. Kofi with a snap mare and kick to Axel. Woods with a drop kick and Big E with a Warrior Splash. Big E towels off and he tags in Woods. Big E gets Woods up in a wheelbarrow position and he slams Woods onto Axel for a near fall.

Woods with an elbow to Axel and Slater tries to interfere but Woods sees him and Slater retreats back on the apron. Axel uses that distraction to hit a drop kick on Woods. Axel with a kick and he tags in Slater. Slater kicks Woods and he does some air guitar. Slater with more kicks and he tags in Titus. Titus with a back breaker followed by a slam and he tags in Axel. Axel punches Woods in the ribs. Axel tries for a belly-to-back suplex and Woods lands on his feet. Woods with an enzuigiri to Axel and both men are down.

Kofi and Slater tag in and Kofi with a springboard chop. Kofi knocks Titus off the apron and then he hits a few chops on Slater followed by a drop kick. Kofi misses the leaping clothesline and Slater with a kick. Kofi with a cross body for a near fall. Big E with a belly-to-belly suplex to Axel. Titus goes over the top rope to the floor. Slater goes to the floor. Big E elevates Kofi onto Slater, Axel, and Titus.

Woods makes the tag and Big E gets Slater up for the Big Ending while Woods hits an elbow to the back while Slater goes down and Woods gets the three count.

Winners: Xavier Woods, Big E, and Kofi Kingston

After the match, Kofi, Big E, and Xavier celebrate with Tom, John, and Michael.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at the end of the Authority on Raw with the Raw Rebound.

Daniel Bryan is with Renee Young and Renee asks about his return to Raw. Daniel says that he has had a blast. He says that he misses the WWE Universe. Before he turns over responsibility for running Raw and Smackdown, he wants to do one more thing. He never expected to see Kane attack The Ryback during his match with Seth Rollins. Since Kane likes chairs so much, he will make a match for TLC. Kane versus The Ryback in a Chairs Match at TLC.

Renee asks Daniel if he will be back soon. Daniel takes a while to say ‘YES’.

We are back with Stardust and Goldust and Stardust talks about how the cosmic key is gone. Their agony has been projected. There is no echo. Their anger goes on and on and on. Goldust says their anger is cold, desolate, and black, like their insides. Stardust says that every day is like the day before. Their goal has been snuffed out. Darkness . . . Darkness. . . Darkness. Welcome to the black hole. Goldust says Darkness falls on the new day.

Match Number Five: Dolph Ziggler versus Luke Harper for the Intercontinental Title

Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall followed by kicks to Harper. Ziggler with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Harper with a rake of the eyes and he tries to suplex Ziggler to the floor but Ziggler stays in the ring. Ziggler drops Harper on the top rope and Ziggler with a drop kick that sends Harper to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Ziggler sends Harper into the ring post when he escapes a lawn dart attempt. Ziggler rolls Harper back into the ring and he goes up top for a cross body and he gets a near fall. Ziggler goes for a splash into the corner and Harper moves, sending Ziggler into the turnbuckles. Harper chokes Ziggler and the referee warns him.

Harper with a suplex set up but he sends Ziggler back to his feet for an uppercut and he gets a near fall. Harper with a reverse chin lock. Ziggler with a jawbreaker and Harper misses a charge into the corner. Ziggler with two clotheslines followed by a splash into the corner and he hits a neck breaker. Ziggler with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall.

Ziggler tries for a Fameasser but Harper catches Ziggler. Ziggler counters into a sunset flip for a near fall. Ziggler with a hesitation DDT for a near fall. Ziggler misses a super kick and Harper misses a big boot. Harper gets Ziggler up for a side slam, but Ziggler counters into a crucifix for a near fall. Harper with a Bossman Slam for a near fall.

Harper picks up Ziggler and sets for a power bomb but Ziggler counters into an X Factor followed by a Fameasser for a near fall. Ziggler goes up top but he takes too long and Harper is able to recover and he crotches Ziggler. Harper with a running boot to Ziggler and then he hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall.

Ziggler rolls to the floor and Harper follows after him. Harper sends Ziggler over the announce table onto the announcers. Harper throws Ziggler over the table and into the apron. Ziggler with a super kick and the referee gets to nine and Ziggler returns to the ring before the ten count.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler (by count out)

After the match, Harper attacks Ziggler and he walks over Ziggler’s back. Harper takes his title belt and he returns to the ring. Harper tries to hit Ziggler with the belt but Ziggler ducks and Harper with a Zig Zag.
