PICK EM CONTEST INFORMATION THROUGH SURVIVOR SERIES; 2015 CONTEST IS COMING

By Richard Trionfo on 2014-11-26 07:31:15
Because I had issues uploading the standings to the site, if you are in the contest, the standings are being sent as part of an Excel file. The first tab is the overall standings while the second tab has the Big Four Point Standings.

The last of the Big Four pay per views are done and it means that we have only one more pay per view left in this contest. It also means that it is time to think about 2015. If you are interested in this contest, please send me an e-mail and I will forward information to you about the 2015 pay per view pick em contest. If you have participated before and have suggestions or comments about the contest, please let me know because I want to make sure that this is the best possible contest and that everyone has fun participating.

Getting back to the Survivor Series, since it was the final of the Big Four pay per views, it meant that at least one person would earn a bonus point for having the most combined points for the Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. The leader board changed throughout the year. Glennsoe had the lead after Royal Rumble with 15 points. Wrestlemania saw Jackal2014 assume the top position. After lurking in the shadows, Sideshow Shan took the lead at SummerSlam and he was able to hold on to earn the bonus point. We almost saw someone catch Sideshow Shan, but Anto fell one point short of Sideshow Shan.

Going into the Survivor Series, carlosjr24 had a one point lead over Jackal2014 and Team Heath. As we take the turn into the final stretch of the 2014 pay per view season, we have three participants tied for first place. Sweet Chin Music, technically in fourth place, is only one point behind.

Fifth place is currently held by Sideshow Shan and we will see if that success with the Big Four shows will be the difference in a few weeks.

I am not sure of how many points will be at stake at TLC, but there are eleven people who are within ten points of first place.

I tried out a different type of bonus for Survivor Series with two of the matches and two of the bonuses. Only two people earned that bonus. One of those people is Sweet Chin Music, the team in fourth place. The other team to earn this bonus was Winter is Coming.

I don’t know if it was the number of bonus questions or the uncertainty of the number of survivors in the matches, no one earned the bonus question bonus point. The fact that only one person picked the sweep by Team Natalya also makes it difficult to earn the available bonus point. Congratulations to Anto for being the only one to go with the sweep. Anto also had the highest point total for Survivor Series with 11. There were three people who earned 10 points.

Only three people were able to pick the winners of the five matches that were on the ballot. #Puntedi100, PBAH, and nWo were able to guess Team Cena, Team Natalya, Damien Sandow and Miz, Nikki Bella, and Bray Wyatt.

Since Big Show walked out on his team after John Cena got eliminated, leaving only Dolph Ziggler, he earned the correct answer for the ‘Final Eliminated Member of Team Cena’ bonus question. Three people picked Big Show.

Seven people picked Mark Henry to be the first person eliminated in the main event, including the two people who moved into the tie for first place.

Fifty-Six of Sixty-Three people were correct picking Seth Rollins to be the final person eliminated on Team Authority.

No one picked the four bonus questions correct for the Traditional Survivor Series Match.

Since only one person picked a sweep by Team Natalya, there was only one person who was correct that no one would be eliminated from that team.

Eleven people picked Layla to be the second person eliminated in the Divas Traditional Survivor Series Match.

Only twenty-three people picked Paige to be the final person eliminated from her team.

While forty-six people picked Damien Sandow and Miz to win the tag titles, thirty-two correctly picked Sandow to get the pin while fourteen thought Miz would be the one to win.

Nine people picked Goldust to be the person pinned in the tag title match.

Fifty-four people did select the Tag Title Match as the opening match on the pay per view.

If you have any dispute about your totals, please make sure to submit it before the start of the TLC pay per view.
