OFF AIR NOTES FROM LAST NIGHT'S RAW TAPING IN BUFFALO, NY

By Dave M. in Buffalo on 2014-11-04 09:19:59

When you walked into the arena there were reps from Mike's Harder Lemonade giving away WWE drink cozy's with the WWE logo on one side. Nice touch from a sponsor.

-When Lillian announced that John Cena would not be there, there were a lot of disappointed kids. Even though they offered the refund, people still were not happy.

-Arena was about 90% + filled.

-Way to many commercials between matches, etc. Some were shown 3-4 times during the night.

-Huge pop when Vince came out. It was a shock to everyone.

-During the Cesaro/Ambrose match when they cut to a commercial to fix the cut on Cesaro's head, Ambrose just stayed there and not interfering. Very much out of character.

-Mizdow is way over. More so than the Miz.

- Randy Orton was way over. The RKO of Seth on the beginning was great.

-Not sure if it was picked up on TV, but a lot of chants for the Buffalo Bills who were in attendance.

-Not a lot a love for Rusev. (not in a heel way, but in a get out of the ring way)

-Way to much HHH tonight.

-Great main event in person. The crowd was really into it.

-Production needs to stop telegraphing what is going to happen. Just before the main event, you could see 2 guys clearing the monitors out of the way. When the Russian flag came down for the after match, we knew Rusev would win. (why bring the flag down if he's going to lose)

-A lot of people left before the Sheamus/Rusev match since it was so late in the night. That match didn't start until around 11:17. By the time it finished it made for a 4 hour WWE event.

-POPS
-Vince McMahon
-Randy Orton
-AJ
-Ryback (stiff match)

Heat
-Mark Henry
-Rusev (and not in a good way)

House show on Sunday March 1st.Presale tickets right now until 11/7 WWELIVE
