By Richard Trionfo on 2014-10-27 23:05:41
Tonight’s show starts off with a video package about last night’s Hell in a Cell event available many places, including on the WWE Network.

We are in San Antonio, Texas and your announcers are John Layfield, Michael Cole, and Jerry Lawler.

Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Kane are in the ring.

Stephanie welcomes everyone to Raw. She says that everyone is happy that they are here to grace you with their presence. Stephanie says that if you missed Hell in a Cell, you missed a hell of a show. Stephanie talks about how the two cell matches were worth the price of admission.

Hunter says that it was a bittersweet night because Orton lost an epic encounter with John Cena. Then there was the man who they have referred to as the future of the WWE, the man who is becoming the standard bearer of the WWE, Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins comes to the ring with what is left of his ‘personal security’ Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble.

Stephanie wants everyone to give it up for Seth Rollins and they boo him.

Seth appreciates the ‘you sold out’ chants. He says that you guys are the best and he cannot thank you enough. He wants to say finally finally finally the Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose is finally out of his hair once and for all. Ambrose is no longer a thorn in his side. He proved once and for all that intellect conquers every time over unbridled mayhem perpetuated by a madman who should be institutionalized.

Now that he is done with Ambrose, he sees the man who soundly defeated Randy Orton on his horizon.

Seth tells the people who chant Ambrose’s name that he is moving on. He is moving on to John Cena.

Seth says later tonight he will be able to see John Cena, just like all of you will see John Cena when he leaves John like he left Dean Ambrose last night at Hell in a Cell, lying in a puddle of his own failure.

Randy Orton’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he apologizes for breaking up this love fest. Randy is not happy with what they are saying about Seth Rollins. Why did he hear twice that he lost to John Cena at Hell in a Cell. Maybe he lost because Seth curb stomped him on Monday night.

Randy says that he is still seeing stars and maybe he should re-enter Anger Management. Maybe the Authority didn’t handle it and that is why he is going to deal with it.

Orton attacks Rollins but he is pulled off Rollins.

Hunter tells Randy they are not doing this here or tonight. Hunter tells Randy to calm down.

Randy says that he will calm down when Rollins is dead.

Hunter tells Randy to calm down and shut up. They are not going to do this. Randy gets the night off. He tells Randy to get on his bus. Emotions are too high. Hell in a Cell is over . . .

We are back and John Cena makes his way to the ring.

John brings up the Spurs as he starts his comments to the crowd. John says last night was an epic night. It might not have been the last chapter in John Cena versus Randy Orton, but it was one of the best. Two men went through hell for one opportunity. To face the beast. To be the best. Last night, he defeated Randy Orton and he earned the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

Brock sits at home thinking that he is a champion while John is here every night to fight like a champion. The next time Brock is in the ring with him, he will lose. Every thing that he does will be a statement to Brock Lesnar. He got past a 12 time champion and future Hall of Famer last night. Tonight, the city of champions gets a main event worthy of San Antonio. The Authority’s standard bearer, Mr. Money in the Bank and the self proclaimed future of the WWE gets a first class wake up call. If Seth Rollins is the future of the WWE, the future ain’t tomorrow, next week, or next year.

Tonight, John Cena goes through the future because Seth Rollins is about to go face to face with the man who runs the place.

Stephanie McMahon’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring. She congratulates John on his victory last night and she says that she cannot wait until tonight’s main event. She says that she cannot wait for Survivor Series where we will see a traditional Survivor Series match.

Stephanie says that she has a business proposition for John. She says John works so hard to win these people over so much that he has to pander to them to get them to cheer for him. Stephanie says that even she can do it and she starts a ‘Go Spurs Go’ chant.

John says that he is listening to the people, something that she could do.

Stephanie asks if John hears the people chanting ‘Cena sucks’ because she does. She is not here to upset or offend John. She is trying to get him to do what is best for business. Stephanie wonders if one arena cheering for him will be the difference after years of arenas cheering against him.

The people don’t matter. They care about seeing blood and guts and people tearing each other apart. John leaves it all out there every night. It doesn’t have to be that hard. You could join the Authority and come to a place where you are loved, appreciated, and respected.

She tells John to think about it. You are going to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Champion. Brock has beaten John handily many times. Maybe the Authority could provide a little insurance. Maybe they could help guarantee a victory.

Stephanie says that the winner of the match tonight could be the captain of Team Authority. They can give John the power that he deserves. He deserves the respect and accolades. He deserves to be part of a family.

John says that he deserves a chance to come down the ramp every night and tell the people how much he loves doing this. They show up because we are all part of this. The fans are a part of this. They are not here for John. John says that he is here for all of them. John asks if he is being asked to sell out to join the Authority.

Stephanie says that when John loses and he is gone, people won’t remember his name.

John says that if it happens, he will be known as a low life sell out so he tells Stephanie no.

Triple H’s music plays. He comes to the ring and he told Stephanie he wouldn’t budge. You can say that we are all in this together. He asks John how long has he been here. Hunter says he has been here 20 years and it gets harder every year. John, you eke by every night and hang on by a thread physically and mentally. You know what he knows. You cannot fight the future. The future is coming whether you like it or not. It doesn’t have to be as hard for you as it is. This business is about longevity and doing the right thing over time. Or you can be the shell of yourself who hobbles in here for one last hurrah. He says that John is smart. Maybe he has to prove it to John that he cannot stop the future.

He tells John to work against the Authority and they will make an example against John. He tells John to find someone with his guts and gumption to stand up against the system to see if they can survive against The Authority. Team Authority will face John Cena’s team. Hunter says that John cannot fight the future, the future will run through you whether it is tonight, or at Survivor Series. They control the future. The Authority is the future. Whether you like it or not, you better smarten up that the Authority always wins.

We go to commercial.
