WHAT IF TNA DOESN'T SIGN A NEW TV DEAL, THE BOTCHED RUMBLE FINISH, JT SMITH AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-10-11 10:00:20
I just read Eric Bischoff's comments about Hall and Nash not necessarily leaving for WCW for more more money but rather the greatly reduced dates requires to work. But doesn't working much less for the same amount of (guaranteed) money pretty much equate to more money? And what about their favored nations clauses, which Nash has gone on record about numerous times, guaranteeing them increased money? Is this just Bischoff just trying to spin things a certain way in his favor yet again?

I think it's Eric simply giving his opinion. Certainly the way you break things down show that Hall and Nash were getting more in the long run while working a smaller amount of dates. That means more to me. Or, Nash AND Hall have been lying for all these years. It's your decision to figure out which is more likely.

Whatever happened to former WWE Diva star Aksana?

She hasn't done much within the wrestling world since being released but is doing a convention appearance on 11/8 in Queens, NY.

I'm watching the WWE Network's top 10 on best Royal Rumble moments. Batista claims his 2005 Royal Rumble tie finish with Cena was a botch. I remember watching it live and thinking it was planned. Thoughts?

The ending was planned but how they got to it was screwed up. They weren't both supposed to go over with the Vince McMahon re-start. That was all improvised.

We may need a follow-up from one of the sites lawyer members but with TNA signing many international contracts, unless they protected themselves would they not be liable if the loss of the American contract caused a shutdown? I doubt the international contracts could sustain the business, they were probably based on using already recorded events.

Unless TNA actually shuts down, it's all a moot point. Even in the worst case scenario that they don't sign a new TV deal, they could keep holding tapings and filming for the overseas markets.

Whatever happened to JT Smith?Smith is retired and living in Virginia.
