While WWE has acquired some of the original music used in ECW and WCW, they don't own the rights to everything ever used. To use everything used would cost far too much financially for WWE to ever make a profit on their DVDs. The only other thing they could do was edit out the entrances and just show the wrestling. WWE's hands are pretty tied on this one.
I see people get mad that Finn Balor doesn't seem like a real name. Finn is a traditional Irish name and Balor seems okay and has good meaning. Am I the only one that thinks it?s mad arguing when the alternative is his birth name, which is just as fake sounding, Fergal Devitt? Seriously who is named Fergal?
Well, Fergal Devitt is named Fergal! I personally don't have any issue with the new name.
What ever happened to Crimson?
Crimson is still working the independents.
With WWE severely lacking starpower at the top of the card right now, what do you think it will take for Vince to realize he hasn't created new top guys in a decade? Orton, Cena, Batista and Lesnar all came in at around the same time and were pushed from the beginning.10 years later, they're still on top. We want fresh blood. What will it take for Vince to wake up?
It's going to take the stock and the ratings going into a major decline for that, but it's more than just the talent. However, WWE would argue they've made Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, etc.
My question is about Total Divas. How come some of the participants are referred to by their real names (i.e. Cameron is Ariane/Naomi is Trinity) but some are known only by their gimmick names (i.e. Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, etc)?
When they initially introduced the series, they decided to use real names. Talents that were added later on weren't given that distinction. That's pretty much it. It was just a production decision.
I watched the WWE OMG Vol 2. DVD. The WCW "Human Torch" match with Vampiro vs. Sting. That was a stunt man catching fire and falling down right?
Yes, indeed it was. That wasn't Sting doing that stunt!!
