WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: TAG TITLE MATCH; RUSEV VERSUS BIG SHOW; BATTLE ROYAL; INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH; AND THE CASE OF THE MONEY IN THE BANK BRIEFCASE

We are in Little Rock, Arkansas and your announcers are Michael Cole, John Layfield, and Tom Phillips.

Miz and Damien Sandow are pacing in the ring and then we see Miz hosting Dean Ambrose on MizTV.

Match Number One: Dean Ambrose versus Miz (with Damien Sandow)

Miz misses a clothesline and then he goes to the floor when Ambrose teases a punch. Sandow makes sure that Miz is okay on the floor. Ambrose with a side head lock take down. Ambrose with a shoulder tackle and a rollup for a near fall. Miz goes to the apron again but he drops Ambrose’s throat on the top rope. Miz with forearms and kicks to Ambrose. Ambrose blocks a hip toss and Ambrose misses a punch and Miz returns to the floor.

Ambrose follows Miz around the ring and Ambrose with a double leg take down and punches when they return to the ring. Ambrose with a step over toe hold and then he rubs Miz’ face in the mat. Ambrose with a chop and then he runs his forearm across the bridge of the nose and follows with kicks. Miz with a thumb to the eye and then he hits the Reality Check and gets a near fall.

Miz kicks Ambrose but Ambrose with a drop kick and a pescado onto Miz and then he sends Miz into the ringside barrier. Ambrose teases going after Sandow but Ambrose drops Miz on the ringside barrier before returning to the ring. Ambrose is distracted by Sandow and MIz with a boot to the head.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Miz kicks Ambrose in the corner. Miz sets for the Awesome Clothesline but Ambrose with a running forearm as Miz makes his way across the ring. Ambrose punches Miz and throw a series of jabs followed by a running forearm and running forearm. Ambrose with a cross body and punches. Ambrose clotheslines Miz over the top rope to the floor.

Ambrose with a suicide dive onto Miz and it sends Miz into the ringside barrier. Ambrose follows Sandow around the ring and that delay allows Miz to recover and he gets a near fall with an inside cradle. Ambrose hits a tornado DDT and he gets a near fall. Ambrose goes up top and Sandow gets on the apron but Ambrose knocks Sandow to the mat. Ambrose comes off the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick but Miz blocks it and he applies the figure four leg lock.

Ambrose fights through the pain and he gets to the ropes. Ambrose kicks Miz away but Miz with a punch. Ambrose rebounds off the ropes and hits a lariat.

Seth Rollins and Kane make their way onto the stage and Ambrose notices.

Miz tries for the Skull Crushing Finale but Ambrose counters into the Dean Driver for the three count.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

After the match, Rollins and Kane make their way to the ring and then they get on the apron. Ambrose goes after Rollins and Kane joins in but Ambrose goes after Kane. Rollins grabs Ambrose but Ambrose runs him into the turnbuckles. Kane tries for a choke slam but Ambrose escapes and then Kane goes over the top rope to the floor when he charges at Ambrose and Ambrose moves.

Rollins with a knee lift but Ambrose bounces off the ropes and hits a lariat. Kane enters the ring, but Ambrose leaves with the briefcase and goes through the crowd.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Stardust is singing. Goldust stops him and says that is enough. They have the cosmic key and those pesky brothers want it back. Stardust says the Gemini Usos cannot have it. Goldust says they won’t get it and they will never forget the name . . . GOL . . . and Stardust . . . the tag team champions.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Intercontinental Title Number One Contender Battle Royal (Featuring Cesaro, Fernando, Diego, Heath Slater, Sin Cara, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Titus O’Neil, Xavier Woods, Zack Ryder, Bo Dallas, Jack Swagger, Justin Gabriel, and Damien Sandow) for a match against Dolph Ziggler later tonight

The bell rings and they square off and Dallas sends Fernando over the top rope to eliminate him. Cesaro and Ryder exchange forearms and uppercuts. Titus and Big E fight by the ropes while Bo eliminates Sin Cara. Gabriel sends Dallas to the apron but he stays off the floor. Swagger and Cesaro are in the corner and Cesaro with an elbow. Diego is eliminated while Gabriel and Ryder fight in the ring.

Big E with a snake eyes to Dallas while Kofi and Woods hit enzuigiris. They pick up Bo and try to eliminate him while Cesaro goes after Ryder. Kofi goes after Slater and Gabriel but Gabriel with a kick. Kofi with a monkey flip to eliminate Gabriel. Kofi and Woods go after Cesaro while Ryder punches Slater. Bo works over Swagger. Woods is eliminated by Cesaro but Big E with a clothesline to Cesaro.

Cesaro stays in the ring and he presses Big E over his head but Titus stops Cesaro from doing anything else to Big E. Cesaro with forearms to Titus and Titus fires back with punches. Cesaro punches Titus on the mat while Ryder tries to eliminate Slater. Swagger grabs Ryder while Titus saves Slater. Big E presses Cesaro over his head but Cesaro presses Big E over his head and eliminates him. We go to commercial.

We are back and eight men are left in the match. Slater and Bo work over Sawgger while Ryder with forearms to Titus until Titus sends Ryder into the turnbuckles. Sandow fights with Kofi and Bo. Cesaro tries to eliminate Sandow but Sandow rolls to the apron. Titus has Ryder on the ropes and Titus eliminates him. Swagger eliminates Titus but Slater with a forearm into the corner.

Slater realizes that Titus has been eliminated and the distraction allows Swagger to eliminate him. Sandow stands in the center of the ring with Kingston, Cesaro, Swagger, and Dallas in a corner. Sandow says that he is Awesome, but all four men work over Sandow and eliminate him.

Cesaro goes after Dallas while Swagger works over Kofi. Dallas is sent over the top rope but he rolls under the bottom rope. Kofi is on Swagger’s shoulders and Swagger tries to eliminate him but Kofi lands on the apron and holds on to the ropes. Dallas tries to bite one of Kofi’s hands to get him over the top rope but Kofi with a head scissors to try to eliminate Dallas, but Bo lands on the apron.

Bo runs Kofi into the ring post on the apron but Kofi with a pendulum kick to eliminate Dallas. Cesaro sends Kofi to the apron but Kofi with a kick to Swagger that sends Cesaro to the mat and Swagger hits the double jump Swagger Bomb. Kofi comes off the turnbuckles but Swagger catches him for an apparent power bomb, but Swagger sends Kofi into the turnbuckles in a heap.

Swagger goes for a double jump Swagger Bomb on Kofi but Cesaro catches Swagger and sends him to the apron. Cesaro with punches but Swagger punches back. Kofi with a springboard chop to the head but Swagger lands on the apron. Cesaro tries to eliminate Kofi but Kofi has Cesaro on the ropes. Cesaro with a rake of the eyes and he rolls back into the ring. Cesaro presses Kofi over his head and he throws Kofi at Swagger against the ropes and both men go over the top rope to eliminate the final two men in the match.

Winner: Cesaro

Renee Young stops the Usos while they are walking in the back. Jimmy goes through a checklist of things for the match and they say the only thing they don’t have checked off is the WWE Tag Team Titles.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Goldust and Stardust versus Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso for the WWE Tag Team Titles

Jey and Stardust start things off. They lock up and Stardust with a hammer lock but Jey with an elbow. Stardust with a hip toss and cartwheel but he misses the kick to the head when Jey moves. Jey gets a near fall with a rollup. Jey with chops. Jey with an Irishwhip and Stardust floats over but Jey doesn’t charge into the corner. Jey with a slam and then he clotheslines Stardust over the top rope. Goldust tries to interfere but Jimmy and Jey with punches that send Goldust over the top rope to the floor.

Jimmy and Jey with stereo planchas onto Goldust and Stardust and we go to commercial.

We are back and Goldust misses a splash into the corner and Jey tags in and he hits clotheslines followed by a chop. Jey with an Irish whip and back body drop for a near fall. Jey is sent to the apron by Goldust but Jey with a punch. Jey punches Stardust but Goldust drops the arm on the top rope and then he sends Jey into the ring post and to the floor.

Stardust sends Jey’s head into the announce table twice. Stardust tries to Jey Jimmy into the ring steps but Jey blocks it. Goldust tags in and he connects with an elbow drop and knee drop. Goldust with an arm bar but Jey with punches. Goldust with an arm wringer and Stardust tags in and he chokes Jey.

Stardust gets a near fall. Stardust with more kicks and a knee drop. Goldust tags back in and he rakes the back but Stardust with a rake to the chest. Goldust with a kick for a near fall. Goldust rips off Jey’s shirt and he punches him. Jey with an uppercut but Goldust takes him to the mat. Stardust tags in and he slingshots in with a boot to the shoulder. Stardust with punches and then Stardust taunts Jimmy.

Jey and Stardust both with clotheslines at the same time and both men are down. Goldust tags in and Jimmy with an elbow to Goldust and a kick to Stardust. Jey back body drops Goldust over the top rope to the floor. Goldust tries to stop the tag but Jey with a Samoan drop and both men are down.

Jimmy and Stardust tag in and Jimmy with clotheslines and a super kick followed by an uppercut. Jimmy with an Exploder suplex. Jimmy with a dragon whip to Goldust followed by a running butt splash to Stardust in the corner. Jimmy misses a super kick and his leg gets caught on the ropes. Stardust sends Jimmy over the top rope to the floor. Goldust goes for a cannonball off the apron but Jimmy and Jey catch him and they drop Goldust on the ringside barrier.

Stardust kicks Jimmy and then Stardust with a springboard back senton onto the Usos. Stardust sends Jimmy back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Stardust goes up top for a moonsault but Jimmy gets him on his shoulders and Jey tags in and they hit the Doomsday Device. Jimmy tags in and hits the superfly splash but Goldust hits Jimmy with the title belt and the referee calls for the bell.

Winners: Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso (by disqualification)

We take a look at Dean Ambrose fighting off Kane and Seth Rollins after his match with Miz and his borrowing of the briefcase.

Seth Rollins yells about Dean taking his briefcase. Kane reminds Seth he still has the contract and Seth says that he knows that. That is not the point. Dean took the briefcase and he went over the line. Seth says that if Dean doesn’t return the briefcase in the exact same condition, what they did to him with the cinder blocks was child’s play.

Match Number Four: Summer Rae and Layla El versus Natalya and Rosa Mendes

Natalya and Summer start things off, but Summer decided to let Layla begin the match. They lock up and Natalya with a rollup for a near fall. Layla with a kick and wrist lock. Natalya rolls through and reverses. Layla with a rollup for a near fall but Natalya counters and tries for the Sharpshooter but Layla makes the tag to Summer.

Natalya brings Summer into the ring and she connects with a discus clothesline followed by a suplex and kicks in the corner. Natalya with a knee and then Summer says that she wants to be friend. Natalya calls her a lying piece of crap. Summer sends Natalya into the turnbuckles and kicks her against the turnbuckles. Summer gets a near fall.

Summer with a front face lock and Layla tags in and she kicks Natalya. Summer tags back in and she chokes Natalya in the corner. Layla chokes Natalya and tags Summer back in. Summer with a chop and she sends Natalya back into the corner. Layla tags in and she applies a head scissors and leans back against the ropes. Layla trips Natalya and Summer tags in. Layla with a drop kick to the head and Summer with a kick to the back of the head.

Summer with a body scissors. Natalya turns over but Summer with a guillotine choke and then she sends Natalya to the mat. Summer misses a leg drop but Natalya is unable to make the tag. Natalya kicks Summer away and she tags in Rosa. Rosa with clotheslines to Layla, who also makes the tag.

Rosa with a drop kick and she gets a near fall. Layla with a round kick to the head but Natalya breaks up the cover. Summer tries to interfere but Natalya sends her to the floor. Layla kicks Natalya to the floor and Layla with a rollup for the three count.

Winners: Layla El and Summer Rae

We take a look at Mark Henry’s comments from Main Event.

Renee Young is with the Big Show in the interview area. She asks Show about Mark’s comments on Main Event and his match tonight. Show says that he has known Mark for a long time and he has the World’s Biggest Heart. Mark took the loss to Rusev very hard. There is a lot of weight on his shoulders and it got to him. Mark is his brother from another mother. If Lana and Rusev want to degrade Mark Henry and America. In America, you have the freedom to do that. Freedom is not free, it comes with a price. Jack Swagger told Rusev ‘We the People’ and Mark Henry told Rusev ‘That’s what he do’. Big Show tells Rusev he is going to knock his ass out.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a recap of the Roman Reigns medical situation.

Match Number Five: Dolph Ziggler versus Cesaro for the Intercontinental Title

Cesaro goes for the legs but Ziggler blocks those attempts. They lock up and Cesaro with a clean break but Ziggler pushes Cesaro. Cesaro with a front face lock but Ziggler escapes and he applies a front face lock of his own into a waist lock. Cesaro backs Ziggler into the corner and Cesaro kicks Ziggler in the midsection and punches him.

Cesaro with an Irish whip followed by a monkey flip but Ziggler lands on his feet and he hip tosses Cesaro and follows with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Ziggler with punches in the corner but Cesaro throws Ziggler over the top rope to the floor. Cesaro goes to the floor and he sends Ziggler into the ringside barrier. Cesaro picks up Ziggler with a gutwrench and carries him into the ring.

Cesaro with a slingshot double stomp back into the ring and he applies a key lock. Ziggler tries for a neck breaker but Cesaro counters with a belly-to-back suplex. Cesaro waits for Ziggler to get up and Cesaro with a knee and he applies an abdominal stretch. Cesaro holds on to the rope for extra leverage when the referee is not looking. Ziggler fights through the pain and Ziggler with a hip toss to get out of the hold.

Cesaro with a kick to the head and then he goes to the turnbuckles and walks the ropes for an elbow drop and he gets a near fall. Cesaro with a cobra clutch but Ziggler fights out of the hold and he hits a jawbreaker. Ziggler with an elbow and Cesaro misses a splash into the corner. Ziggler goes for a splash into the corner but Cesaro with an uppercut. Ziggler with a drop kick.

Ziggler tries for the Fameasser but Cesaro blocks it. Ziggler counters a power bomb attempt and gets a sunset flip into a rollup for the three count, but it appears that Cesaro had his hand on the rope before the three count.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

After the match, Cesaro tells the referee that he had his hand on the ropes and he tries to plead his case.

Renee Young is in the interview area with Rusev and Lana. She asks Rusev about the match with Big Show. Lana speaks in Russian and then she translates into Renee’s primitive language. She says history will repeat itself when Big Show suffers the same fate as Mark Henry. Big Show might be a giant, but everything that gets in Rusev’s way . . . HE CRUSHES.

Rusev speaks in Bulgarian and we go to commercial.

Match Number Six: Rusev (with Lana) versus Big Show

Show punches Rusev and follows with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Show sends Rusev into the turnbuckles and he chops Rusev. Show with an Irish whip and another clothesline into the corner. Show with a punch to the midsection. Show sends Rusev into the turnbuckles and sets for the Shhhhh chop but Rusev with a shot to the throat.

Rusev with punches but Show with a sunset flip for a near fall. Show with a running shoulder tackle that knocks Rusev out of the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rusev drops Show on the top rope but Show with a shoulder tackle. Show with a head butt to Rusev and this time Show connects with the Shhhhh chop. Rusev pushes Show away but Show with a punch to the midsection and another Shhhhh chop. Show with a knee to Rusev but Rusev dives at the knee and he takes Show down. Rusev kicks Show in the hamstring.

Rusev with elbow drops to the leg. Rusev with an elbow drop to the back of the leg. Rusev with more elbow drops to the leg and then he focuses on the leg and knee. Rusev with more elbow drops to the leg and he gets a near fall. Show gets Rusev over and he drops his leg across Rusev’s face.

Show with a side slam and he gets a near fall. Show signals for the knock out punch but Rusev avoids it and Rusev with a jumping thrust kick for a near fall. Rusev with a chin lock on Show to try to get Show to tap out. Show gets back to his feet and he connects with elbows to escape. Show with clotheslines followed by an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner followed by a second one. Show misses the clothesline but he does not miss with the choke slam. Show signals for the knock out punch, but Lana grabs Show’s foot and she is pulled into the ring.

Rusev gets the Russian flag and he hits Show with it. The referee does not see it, but he does see Rusev hitting Show in the ribs with the flag.

Winner: Big Show (by disqualification)

After the match, Rusev goes for the jumping thrust kick but Show blocks it and he knocks Rusev out with the punch.
