WWE NEWS AND NOTES

By Mike Johnson on 2014-09-24 13:45:00
Triple H was interviewed by Michael Cole for his latest Wednesday sit-down on the WWE website today. He referred to Roman Reigns' injury as a "tragedy" but then said it's like Groundhog Day as just like Daniel Bryan, fans push them to buck up against authority and then they end up injured and out of action. On Dean Ambrose's return, HHH said, "There's no defending mental stability" in him and said, "there's something interesting" about him.

Big Show is replacing Roman Reigns on all of the upcoming house show events.

In regard to online rumors that CM Punk signed on for a WWE film, they are just the latest stupid rumors we have to shut down. The film in question is the French film "Queens of the Ring" which was shot well over a year ago. The film is just getting an American DVD release this November, hence the stupidity of such stories being tossed out there. I hate to break the hearts of everyone who emailed us today, but there is no new WWE film starring CM Punk. Punk, however, was recently spotted taking in a "Living Colour" concert in Chicago.

A number of tabloid sites reported today that Justin Bieber filmed a scene for David Hasselhoff's new film "Celebrity Death Pool", which of course is a WWE Studios production. We have no heard that to be the case. One would think that it it was, WWE would be promoting the hell out of that online, but we will see.
