“Los Bouncers” – Bob & Bruno defeated AJ Castillo & Jay Velez

The results from last week’s show will bring us to this Saturday’s show where WWC will return once again to the “Cosme Beitía Sálamo Arena” in Cataño, PR, with a bell time of 8:30PM. The announced card for the show is as follows:

As we mentioned last week, WWC Aniversario 41 has been announced to take place on Saturday October 25th at the “Hector Solá Bezares Coliseum” in Caguas, PR. During this week’s TV show, WWE’s “Los Matadores” w/ Torito issued a challenge to “Los Templarios” ASH & William De La Vega for them to put up their WWC World Tag Team titles against them in a match at the Aniversario 41 event. Even though “Los Templarios” have not officially responded to the challenge, you may pencil that match in for the event’s card.

Also scheduled for the event will be “El Patrón” Alberto (Del Rio), who should be taking on Ray González in a reprise of the PR vs Mexico feuds from the 1990’s. Ricardo Rodriguez was seen on a vignette at the end of the TV show leaving the arena saying that he has already talked to “El Patrón” and he will be coming to the island to take care of González himself.

Another storyline that was advanced during this past weekend’s TV shows was the Invader/Bronco one. Bronco did one of the best promo’s that has been done in a WWC in a very long time, basing it on the history between Invader and him over the years and how their feud has transcended over the last two decades. Invader has yet to respond, but this could be expected to be one of the matches that will be officially announced to take place during the Aniversario 41 event. We will continue to bring you all the information heading into the Aniversario event in the coming weeks.

World Wrestling League (WWL)

This past weekend’s episode of WWL is now available online. They presented two matches on the show: Ivelisse Velez vs Taya Valkyrie, which was part of one of the Mexico events last year; and Monster Pain w/ Mistress Glenda Lee vs Giant Dementus, which was part of their debut event “Idols of Wrestling” in Puerto Rico. Also, during the show you will see some of the storylines being advanced en route to their first big event in over a year to be presented in Puerto Rico, “WWL’s INSURRECTION”.

First, they touched on the situation with Shane “The Glamour Boy” receiving a call from an “Immigration agent” who was called by “Victor & Carlos”. During the show it was stated that WWL’s president, Richard Negrín, and the Director of Operations (still unknown) will do everything in their power to ensure that Shane is able to be at the event in October.

Second, they continue to add pieces to the censorship in the TV shows. They announced that Héctor “MoodyJack” Meléndez was suspended indefinitely for participating in the comments that Denniss Rivera made during last week’s “Hablando Claro” segment on the show. On the other hand, Denniss and Stefano are now following Negrín to try and find out who is behind the “envelopes” that have been sent to all the different talents and to see if they discover who the Director of Operations is. While “investigating” all this, Stefano discovered that Thunder & Lightning’s envelope had a different message than the rest and was sent from someone that is not necessarily the Director of Operations.
