WWE SIGNS FOX SPORTS TV DEAL

By Mike Johnson on 2014-09-17 14:57:07
WWE signed a huge deal with Fox Sports Latin America that will bring WWE programming to 56 million households in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Chile, among other countries.

The five year deal will see FOX Sports Latin America broadcasting Monday Night Raw live as of Monday 10/6.

The deal also includes broadcasts of Smackdown, WWE Main Event and NXT.

For the local region, this is huge news as it brings WWE's complete programming on a major broadcast outlet as opposed to an edited down one hour version of Raw.

The deal will also bring WWE's Vintage Collection, an internationally syndicated series that features older material to the FOX Play digital platform.

WWE PPVs will also be featured on premium FOX Sports channels and the FOX Play digital platform.

An official press release should be issued shortly.
