Why did WWE kill the Swagger/Rusev feud? I felt this feud had enough to go through at least Hell in a Cell if not Survivor Series. Also why is Swagger now being placed in a program with Bo Dallas?
They didn’t expect Swagger to get over as much as he did. The plan was to use Swagger to build Rusev up and if they continued the feud, Swagger would have had to win and that wasn’t their plan. So they moved him to Dallas. I hope they don’t squander Swagger’s momentum.
Do you think if WWE featured NXT matches at Main Event or Superstars will help introduce some NXT stars to the universe?
Not really because those shows get such low viewership. If they are going to do it, I would like to see it on Raw and Smackdown, provided the talent can show what they can do and not have the four men that were in the Fatal Four way lose to John Cena in a four on one handicap match. I would love to see the NXT guys get pushed as someone of their own “show within a show†on Raw. If done right, it could be very effective.
I just watched the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Do you think there will be a Jimmy Miranda Award?
That would be great. I hope WWE does it. I can’t say I think it will happen either way, but I would be great.
I have never seen NXT before, but watching Raw, I was "Oh Wow'ing†all thru the match! Now why can't VKM see how good those guys are, and how entertaining, and put them on the dang main roster! I look forward to the day I see that crew on Raw or Smackdown.
He put the show over on his Twitter account. At the end of the day, it comes down to him pushing what he is comfortable pushing. Those kinds of workers are outside of his comfort zone so what needs to happen is Vince has to trust Triple H’s judgment and give the guys that H is high on a legit chance to make it on the main roster. Smaller, talented guy have gotten over before, like Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho etc. There is no reason it can’t happen again here.
So if Vince didn't think that high-flyers were main event caliber performers then why allow Neville to be NXT champion. Its kind of a contradiction if NXT is supposed to be the "future".
Did Vince tell you that? As mentioned above, Vince has pushed flyers in the past. As for NXT, Triple H books it, not Vince. And Neville does a lot more than fly. You are selling him short.
