Am I the only one disappointed in the presentation of The Monday Night Wars series on the Network so far? I was really hoping for something more along the lines of like a month by month comparison and hitting the highlights of what each brand did to counter the other. I don’t need yet another highlight film on DX or Mick Foley. There are DVD Sets for all of that. There needs to be more of a comparison on what both brands are doing. I mean WCW is an afterthought in this series thus far. The only thing I like so far is them showing the ratings tick between weeks, but even that isn’t kept in sequential order. Thoughts?

I have said the same thing on audio on the site. I too wanted more inside dope on what was going on, as it happened. I think that would be very interesting. But, the victor gets to tell the story.

In relation to the quality of TV/Storylines, do you think TNA has gone backwards since the departure of Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff from creative? At the minute, the world champion doesnt have a storyline, and hasnt since he had the title, despite having one show promo and matches with numerous matches, Joe, Storm & the likes are treading water and its simply tune in and see what sticks to the wall opposed to character and story development. At least during 2010-2013 there was actual storylines and things to attempt to keep people watching, such as the awesome Storm vs Roode 1 year fued, the Immortal Angle, Kurt vs Jeff and the rise of Bully Ray. Even the TV title had more of a storyline than the world title does at the minute.

No, I don’t. I like that right now in TNA it isn’t about non-wrestlers or silly story lines, it’s just about one guy wanting to beat another guy and also trying to develop new characters. It’s about wrestling as opposed to being a WWE rip off. And they have cut back on ridiculous, meaningless swerves. I guess to people that like that “anything can happen whether it makes sense or not” style of TV, they are less interesting now. To me, they are much, much better.

Do you think WWE will go further in pushing Dean Ambrose? He is far more entertaining than anyone on the roster and the fans seem to getting behind him. They have dropped the ball on numerous talent recently that have been catching fire..and also is it just me because I don't see a mega star in Roman Reigns like everyone else does.

I sure hope that they push Dean strongly. As you mentioned, WWE has hurt a lot of young guys with how they have pushed them. They need fresh blood at the top of the card and Dean is a guy that can give them that if they use him properly. He has a chance to be a legitimate top guy. As for Reigns, I have heard others say the same thing. But he is still a work in progress. If they can get him hot by the Rumble, we will know then if he can ascend to the next level.

Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, Bray Wyatt, and a lot of others. Fans were starting to get behind them and then nothing. There seems to be an impenetrable wall where guys like them just can't get to the next level. Years ago, I remember reading an interview done to Marty Jannety and he said that at that time the New Rockers were getting hot and people were really cheering for them and then creative/writers change the course and/or has nothing for them. It's then that they (with Al Snow) realized that the reason for their de-push was that fans are behind them more than the top guys at that time. And the top guys didn't want it. Do you think that's happening now?

It has happened so many times, where WWE creative puts the breaks on a guy’s momentum, that it’s impossible to argue that it doesn’t happen. It comes down to Vince McMahon. He sets the direction and the course. As I said above, they need new blood at the top. It’s time for him to change his approach.

What is the chance Kurt Angle signs with WWE. Even though he is little older, he is one of the few legitimate guys who can go up against Brock.

He is definitely trying to get back in there so it’s at least 50/50. The rumor mill says that Vince McMahon is fine with it, but HHH has some reservations. The company has largely been trying to get younger and Angle is older with injury and outside the ring issues in his past. I don’t think at this point, with his past neck problems, Brock is the guy I would put him in with. Like smoking cigarettes that could be hazardous to Kurt’s health. But back to the question, I think there is a solid chance. He has said he has wanted to end his career in WWE and TNA’s situation, with no new TV deal, is tenuous at best. If I were Angle, I would try to go back to WWE too.
