THE NEXT TIME VINCE RUSSO SAYS WE DON'T CONTACT HIM BEFORE WE RUN A STORY……WELL YOU HAVE TO READ THIS TO BELIEVE IT BUT #LIARLIARPANTSONFIRE SHOULD BE TRENDING ON TWITTER

Just when you think you’re out, he pulls you back in. That aptly describes Vince Russo and the web of stupidity he continues to weave on the periphery of the pro wrestling business.

Yesterday I was sent an email by someone who told me that in an interview that Russo did, he stated that he had never met me and inferred he had never even spoken to me in his lifetime. Both of those statements are blatant lies, which Russo obviously knows, so I wrote him an email to remind him of the many times we spoke on the phone. I also reminded him of one time I spoke with him backstage at a WCW PPV in front of at least a dozen people. Ironically it was the night that Russo had asked Bob Ryder to have Buck Woodward also come to the show as Russo was not happy with Buck’s critiques of his brilliant booking on Nitro. Buck and I were working with Bob at 1Wrestling.com at the time, and Bob was working for WCW, so Russo actually asked for the meeting which he now denies ever happened. I wrote Russo yesterday to remind him of this meeting he claimed never happened. His response was:

”I guess I must have forgotten meeting you.”

I responded and asked him if he would do the right thing and send a retraction to the interviewer. He responded:

”Because I honestly don't remember meeting you. So if I said I did---then I'd be being dishonest.”

I then asked him if he remembered talking to me on the phone (and it should be noted that I even interviewed him for 1Wrestling.com, which obviously proves he had spoken to me before). He replied:

”Honestly, I don't. And, if you don't believe that there's nothing I can do. There's a lot of things I don't remember, Dave. And, if I don't remember something I say that. So I don't remember any of our conversations, no.”

I pointed out to him the ridiculous, hypocritical nature of his statement. I pointed out that he just lied because he did, in fact, say he didn’t meet me when he actually didn’t remember it. I asked him to justify his actions that went directly against his own words. This was the response he sent:

”Please stop e-mailing me. I'm just deleting them.

Peace,

Vince"

So in a nutshell, the man fabricates statements that no one contacted him for his side of stories, even when they did. Then, when I contact him about a story, he tells me he will no longer read or answer the emails. That makes it a bit hard to get his side of a story don't ya think?

This little foray into the twisted mind of Vince Russo is exactly why so many people think of him the way that they do. He just makes no sense.
