WHY LEGENDS PUT OVER JOHN CENA, HOW THE WWE NETWORK CAN HURT TODAY’S PRODUCT, WWE A SLAVE TO WALL STREET AND MORE

Do you think that WWE has become a slave to Wall Street?  I totally get that firing 7% of the staff saves money but how does doing that add 1 subscriber?  Isn't that what really matters?  This isn't like the WBF or XFL where if it fails they can end it and go back to business as usual.  No one will go back to $50 ppvs after getting them for $9.99.  Shouldn't they focus on adding subscribers regardless of the expense rather than lowering costs just to make a stock go up for a few days?

They certainly have to make decision with them in mind. With that said, WWE has cut plenty of jobs in the past when they were a private company. They would have done the same this year even if they weren’t publicly traded. But yes, they should focus on adding subscribers, no doubt. To me, the main area to fix that problem is by improving what has been a moribund creative end. They deliver five hours of free TV right now and to most of their audience, that is more than enough. They need to get back to the point where people can’t get enough WWE and thus need to buy the Network to see the PPVs, if nothing else.

At last week's RAW, Ric, Shawn n Hogan (well not shawn really) were almost kissing Cena's @ss, and every time they talk about Cena, they talk like they're talking about their boss. And at one point it felt like Cena is Vince McMahon to them and he pays them. I understand how WWE make their talents kiss Cena's @ss, but i just don’t understand how they manage to make these legends do the same?

Those legends are talents on the show, just like anyone else. If they want to get paid, they read the lines the way Vince McMahon wants them read. That simple.

Do you think the viewers of old matches realize how bad the announcing is on modern wrestling and that causes them to lose interest in the wrestling shows that air these days?

The announcing is really bad right now (and a lot of that falls on JBL who is painful to listen to much of the time). If someone is a newer fan and they buy The WWE Network and hear Jim Ross doing the job the way it’s supposed to be done, yes that could definitely make people think that today’s announce team blows.

Am I the only one who thinks that WWE should bring back the War Games matches?  If I'm not mistaken they put out a poll around that topic a few months back.  I think it is one of the few gimmick matches that deserves to come back and have its own PPV.  Scrap the Hell in a Cell and Elimination Chamber PPVs and give me War Games.

A lot of fans would like to see it. For years, Kevin Dunn has been against the concept because it’s hard to shoot and he is very concerned about how it would come across as a TV product.

I just read the Chris Sabin interview posted on the site and in it he stated that his ultimate goal was to work for WWE.  Do you think WWE would go for Sabin, much less give him any decent booking?  Personally I think Sabin is a great talent but he seems injury prone and I'm not sure he has the mic skills or charisma.  Don't get me wrong, I think if he was left to do his thing he would do great in WWE, but does WWE see him like that?

I like Sabin as a worker but I agree, he is not a great promo. He also isn’t very big and those two things would work against him in WWE.
