TNA IN NYC UPDATES AND MORE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2014-08-07 13:58:14
Although Low Ki took a hard shot to the back of his head landing on the ramp to the ring during a bout at last night's Impact Wrestling taping, we are told he is OK.

TNA has been very happy with the attendance in NYC this week as they were running all week days and it was their second set of tapings in the market. The attendance has been just about on par with the last set of tapings and if tonight's show draws well, may surpass the total amount of fans attending live. The belief is that the recent good string of TV shows and some of that positive word of mouth has helped them this time around.

The company has also been really happy with the publicity locally, especially the Chris Melendez debut, which the New York media really jumped on.

Jeremy Borash noted last night on the mic that tonight's taping would feature "surprises". No word what they may be.

Tommy Dreamer was backstage working as an agent at the tapings.
