RedeyeChicago.com has a good interview with Dave Bautista, in conjunction with the release of his movie. About his return to WWE and the reaction from the fans he said, "They wanted to bring me back as this big baby face. I said, ‘It’s not going to work.’ [They said,] 'Yeah, they miss you, they love you, and they’ll be so happy you’re back.' [I said,] ‘Yeah, that’s going to last two seconds.’ And sure enough it did." He added that he had to talk a lot with Vince McMahon about his reaction adding, "I really had to fight to continue with it." He also was asked about whether CM Punk left because he returned and said at first he didn't think so but he was curious, "So I called him, and he never called me back.
