By Richard Trionfo on 2014-07-01 20:46:14
We are in Newark, New Jersey and your announcers are Tom ‘Brodeur’ Phillips and Byron ‘Happy Canada Day’ Saxton.

Paul Heyman and Cesaro are in the ring and Cesaro has an eye patch over his injured eye. Paul says that he knows how to deliver on a promise. He promised that his client was a conquerer and he overdelivered when BROCK LESNAR conquered the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.

You are booing because you were promised a match between the perennial runner up Dolph Ziggler and his client, the winner of the first Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. That match cannot take place this evening.

Paul tells the people not to boo his client, boo Kofi Kingston because Kofi intentionally blinded his client.

Paul shows us the evidence of Kofi’s horrible actions to Cesaro’s eye.

Paul tells Cesaro that he understands. For every action, there is a reaction. An Eye for an Eye. Like any true Superman, Cesaro took matters into his own hands. Paul warns everyone that this next piece of footage is graphic. We see Cesaro’s post match attack on Kofi.

Paul says that he is unimpressed with your scorn. While his client will not be competing this evening, Cesaro assures you that he will be competing in the Battle Royal at Battleground for the Intercontinental Championship.

Dolph Ziggler’s music interrupts Paul’s further comments.

Dolph apologizes and asks about the perennial runner up comment. Dolph says that he hates to agree with Paul, but some might remember when Dolph won the Money in the Bank Contract match. Some people might remember when he cashed in that contract to become the World Champion.

Maybe some of those people remember when Dolph became the Intercontinental Champion. Dolph asks Paul when did his client achieve those goals? Dolph tells Paul that it is a big fat zero.

Dolph says that he doesn’t know if Paul is the advocate or manager of this James Bond villain to grow a set.

Even though he has strayed from the path of righteousness and excellence, he has a chance at redemption. Big E says that he will overcome every hurdle, obstacle, man, or match that is put in his way because at Battleground . . .

Ryback and Curtis Axel make their way to the ring. Ryback tells the cornballs to listen up. It doesn’t matter who, it doesn’t matter where, it doesn’t matter when. Curtis says that when they get entered into the battle royal, they won’t be stopped.

Rob Van Dam’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage. Rob says that everyone has their accomplishments. Dolph, bro, you’ve got your accomplishments. Big E, you’ve got your accomplishments. You guys, well, you have accomplished something other than copying his ring gear. The point is that we are all good. Only one of us is good enough to be R . . . V . . .

Everyone attacks Van Dam but Van Dam takes care of Ryback while Axel and Ryback are on the floor after the brief skirmish.
