THE ROCK'S NEW BOOK, FORMER WWF & WCW STAR TEARS ACL AND MORE

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's new book will be released 10/28 by Simon and Schuster. The memoir was co-written by Joe Layden, who worked with Rock on his first book, which was released by WWE in 1999. Layden also co-authored WWE exec Basil Devito's book on Wrestlemania book, which was released in 2001. The title of the book has not yet been announced.

Former WWF and WCW star Bryan Clarke aka Adam Bomb suffered a torn ACL and MCL in the gym and will be undergoing surgery. Our best wishes to him for a quick recovery.

The release of former WWF champion Bob Backlund's autobiography has been pushed back to 8/5 from it's original release date on 7/1.

Speaking of books, actor Cary Elwes will be releasing a book based around memories of making "The Princess Bride" which undoubtedly will have some stories about Andre the Giant in it.
