In the May 13 Q & A Dave answered a question where a reader thought it would make sense to turn Dean Ambrose and have him join Evolution. Is this indicative of wrestling fans today where they need immediate satisfaction and swerves to keep them interested? It took the Mega Powers a year to explode, now it would happen in a month.
I blame the Vince Russo's of the world for that. They started the "turn someone to surprise people" way of booking and it's, unfortunately, caught on with some. Some just expect swerves because that is what they have gotten used to. Continuity means nothing to them, unfortunately. Now to be fair, there are more choices now for people, but that doesn't mean that companies should tell stupid stories. At least not to me.
Even though his career in WWE wasn't long or that great, but given what he's done for the business, when can we see Diamond Dallas page where he belongs in the hof?
I have no problem with that. He had a good run in WCW and has been inspiration in his post wrestling career.
Does putting the US title on Sheamus help give the title a little more credibility? Because I remember when the belt was on SD and rivalries were big over the title. Having established vets like ADR and new faces like Curtis Axel could possibly bring it back to prominence.
To me, to make a belt credible it needs to be booked credibly in most cases. Unless they put it on a top, top guy, the man that holds it in and of itself won't add much to it.
If CM Punk didn't walk out, do you think WWE would have still changed their Wrestlemania plans based on Pittsburgh's crowd alone?
Pittsburgh started it, but it continued after the Rumble. And keep in mind, most fans had no idea that Punk had gone home. So yes I think it would have forced WWE to change their plans no matter what.
when Tazz first debuted in wwe he pretty much wore the same attire he did in ECW, overtime he began wearing a cut off shirt and track pants what was the reason for this? I always felt his ECW attire made him look like a badass.
Tazz came in really strong, and then WWE just cooled off his push. Changing his outfit was part of that. It was a really stupid move on their part because there was money to be made with Tazz.
