WHEN WE WILL KNOW THE FUTURE OF WWE ON NBC UNIVERSAL

The answer to whether WWE will be remaining with NBC Universal may be revealed in about a week's time. NBC will be holding a huge combined upfront event for all of their 17 cable networks on Thursday 5/15.

In the past several years, WWE personalities have appeared at upfronts for the different NBC Universal-owned networks that carry WWE programming, including The USA Network, SyFy and E!

This year, NBC will be holding one huge presentation that will feature all of the networks under their ownership. The presence (or lack thereof) of WWE personalities at this Thursday's upfront presentation in New York City at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, should be very telling.

Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio appeared at the USA Network upfronts in 2013. The Miz and CM Punk, among others, have appeared at previous upfront presentations for Syfy and USA as well and WWE announcements, including the expansion of Raw to three-hours, were staged at past upfronts.

So, as they say, the clock is ticking.
