AWESOME ROH VS. NEW JAPAN 'WAR OF THE WORLDS' MAIN EVENTS SET FOR NEXT MONTH IN NYC

Ring of Honor announced a pretty strong lineup of main events for the 5/17 "War of the Worlds" event at the sold-out Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City as the ROH roster will compete against the stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Announced for the event:

*ROH champion Adam Cole vs. Jushin Liger.

*IWGP champion Kazuchika Okada vs. Michael Elgin

*ROH Tag Team champions The Young Bucks vs. reDRagon.

*IWGP Tag Team champions Karl Anderson & Doc (Luke) Gallows vs. The Briscoes

*ROH TV champion Jay Lethal vs. KUSHIDA.

*Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Steen.

*Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Michael Bennett.

*Also set to appear are AJ Styles, Gedo & Jado, The Forever Hooligans, Takaaki Watanabe, The Decade (Roderick Strong, BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs), Adam Page, ACH, Matt Taven, Cedric Alexander, Tommaso Ciampa, Silas Young and more.

It should be noted that the lineup listed features the current champions for each promotion. Should there be any title changes, the new champion(s) will step into the title defenses.
