By Mike Johnson on 2014-04-19 10:30:16
The WWE Network will replay all of their “Warrior Week” programming today. If you were a Warrior fan, you’ll love the material. The Warrior: Ultimate Legend documentary is one of the best things WWE has produced yet on the Network and is absolutely worth watching. Richard Trionfo and I have a really good 60 minute discussion about the doc in the Elite section.

The WWE Network will debut a new feature “Best of WWE Hall of Fame” this week, showcasing different inductions from over the years. It would be really cool to see the first few ceremonies pop up on the Network since they were never broadcast.

Dwayne Johnson has made noises about wanting to be a Bond villain. His grandfather Peter Maivia appeared in “You Only Live Twice.”

Kevin M. sent along that UltimateClassicRock.com featured a piece on pro wrestlers that look like Metallica at this link.

Although it was mentioned in a WWE presentation over Wrestlemania weekend that their Malaysia event will be their first, they did run a show in Kuala Lumpur in March 2002 at the Putra Indoor Stadium, with a main event of Chris Jericho vs. The Rock. Thanks to everyone that sent that along.

Joey Monroe sent the following….I know you guys probably aren’t aware of this very popular (locally) web series called Pittsburgh Dad (basically two guys make short videos on how their own dads acted when they were younger). But this week’s episode he covers WrestleMania 30. It’s worth a quick look, my own dad acted like this when I was younger. You can watch it at this link.

Locally advertised for the 5/27 Smackdown taping in Atlanta, GA at the Phillips Arena is Daniel Bryan & The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family. Thanks to Dave Whitaker.

David Houston sent the following….SI.com has a pictorial up on the history of WrestleMania and this week's issue has a two page pictorial about all the mainstream athletes who've participated including Muhammad Ali, Floyd Mayweather, Pete Rose, Lawrence Taylor and Brock Lesnar. To check it out, click here.

Shawn Anderson sent the following….Philadelphia Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon is definitely a fan of "The Nature Boy"...just check out his locker at this link.

Mick Foley’s recent stand-up appearance in Richmond, VA was reviewed at this link.
