STING VS. UNDERTAKER, SHOULD CENA HAVE BEEN IN THE OPEN OF MANIA, ROLLING THE CREDITS AT THE END OF A SHOW AND MORE

I think ending the streak was the right idea. Joe DiMaggio's streak ended, Cal Ripken's streak ended. Anderson Silva had a loss but the went on an impressive streak as champion and that ended. I think the streak ending opens up possibilities. Wrestlers can chase the streak even if they have a loss prior to stringing up wins. It also allows Undertaker to retire at Wrestlemania without it tied to the streak. What do you think of him announcing his retirement at Raw and saying he has beaten everyone and accomplished everything only for Sting to come out and cut a promo about how he never beat him. Talk about the dream match and tell him they owe it to the fans to give them that match at the next Wrestlemania. They can then build it up with highlights of Sting's career up until the big show.

I am sure people would like to see the match even if I am not overly excited for it. To me, it would be about the history but it would also be two older guys. It may end up being good and if so, I would give them credit. But I am not yearning to see Sting vs. Taker at this point. Ten years ago, yes. Today? Not so much.

In thinking about the awesome opening segment at WrestleMania with Hogan, Austin and Rock, it seems to me that Cena could have been out there too. I know the fans have a love-hate relationship with Cena (myself included) but if we be honest with ourselves, the guy has carried the business on his shoulder (very capably) for the past 10+ years, which is longer than either Austin (97-03), Hogan (83-92) or Rock(98-03). One can even argue that he has done so with much more class than either one of those three. I know we would have been booed mercilessly if he was in the segment at Mania, but do you think that one day Cena can participate in something that special (as he rightfully deserves) and the fans will accept it?

First off, when you mentioned that you know it would have gotten boos, that is exactly why you don't do it. What you said about him carrying the company is true, but he is also still in him prime and the other three are basically all time legends who are either done or are mostly done.

I've seen written on the Q&As recently that before Punk walked out it was going to be Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX. Does that mean there were/are plans to turn Sheamus heel?

There was talk of that but when Punk walked out it never got much past the initial planning stages.

So for the first time in a long time. WWE has me interested. Daniel Bryan is finally champ. It looks as if we could see a "Colter guy" vs "Heyman guy" feud. NXT guys are coming. This seems like it could be an very good time to be a WWE fan. I'm not even including how much I love having old NWA matches at my fingertips. Your thoughts?

I have said it many times, The Network is a great, great bargain.

Would WWE or TNA ever consider rolling credits at the end of their shows/ppvs like WCW used to do at the end of their ppvs? When you realize how much work goes into these shows & how many people it takes to make it happen, it makes it hard for me to criticize these shows. These unsung heroes deserve their recognition.

I hope not. I hate that stuff. We all know it's a work but there is no need to be THAT obvious about it.
