THE END OF THE STREAK, LAY OFF TRIPLE H ALREADY, WILL PAIGE AND AJ GET TO TEAR IT UP AND MORE

By Dave Scherer on 2014-04-13 10:00:31

So the Undertaker's streak is over. I know you have always said it should never end. How to you feel now?

It's odd, when they did it I was shocked. But I wasn't mad. That surprised me. It was a good shock. I heard that people got up and walked out of the Superdome when it happened. I just don't understand that. To me, it's taking it a bit too seriously. If Taker is OK with it, I am too. I get why they did it with Lesnar too. He is a vile heel. If they did it with say a Roman Reigns, it would have gotten him heel heat and that isn't what they want. So now, I just hope that they have Daniel Bryan take beat Lesnar in a feud so that by extension, Bryan gets the rub by the streak ending.

I STILL see people on other websites saying that Triple H is still out to kill Daniel Bryan and his character backstage. When will people stop doing that and realize all of the good that Triple H has done for WWE?

First off, I would suggest you stop going to website where people are that myopic. First off, Vince McMahon is in head of the creative direction of WWE, not Triple H. With that said, H couldn't have done more to put Bryan over last week at WrestleMania and on Raw last Monday. He was a true pro's pro. On top of that, the job he has done with the development program is paying huge dividends right now. No matter who he was 10 years ago as a wrestler, judge the man on what he is doing today. WWE had it's best in-ring week of product in forever, and H was a big reason for that both in the ring and in overseeing the development of up and coming talent.

Paige is awesome. I have been watching her in NXT for a while now. My question is do you think they will let her show all she can do in a feud with AJ? AJ is really good in the ring too.

I sure hope so. I agree with you, Paige is really, really good. Emma was great in NXT as well, but they haven't really let her show it on the main roster. But Paige came in and took AJ's Title, which was very important to her character. That should have AJ out for blood, which will hopefully mean that those two can show all that they can do in a feud over the belt.

OK, the same week an underdog with a scraggly beard beats the handpicked champion who tries to hide from every challenge and takes help from anyone he can to retain his title at WrestleMania, out of nowhere, TNA does the exact same thing, out of nowhere, and puts their Title on Eric Young. How do they not realize what a pathetic copycat company they look like in doing that?

Well, when you put it like that.....Seriously, yeah that was the same thought I had when I saw what they did. My bigger problem with it is that Eric Young has been booked as a comedy character for years. He was half of the Knockouts tag titles. He was a guy that played a goof and his big spot was stripping down to his underwear in the ring. They did nothing to even try and build his character up before dumping the World Title on him out of nowhere. It was a typical Vince Russo SWERVE, and it hurts the product and the Title in my opinion. It's a shame too because Young is a good solid worker but to me, this is the same as making Santino Marella the WWE Champion.

Hey, TNA said Dixie Carter was gone. Now a month later, she is back. What gives?

Good question, for sure. As mentioned above, part of the problem in the business is that those booking it think the fans are dopes that don't remember the past. We do remember the past and when they ignore it, it's infuriating to those of us that care about continiuity.
