JARRETT ON NEW COMPANY, UPDATE ON ADAM PEARCE'S PADRES GIG, CABANA AND MORE

I had the chance to speak to Jeff Jarrett earlier today at Wrestlecon. When I asked him about the announcement on Monday he said, "You'll see Monday and we'll be speaking on Monday. Bank on that."

Adam Pearce is still in the running for the San Diego Padres' PA announcer job. There is an online voting currently ongoing where the Padres will whittle the contenders down to 10. If you want to support Pearce, there are two ways to do so. You can click click here and select #23 Adam Pearce or you can use Twitter with hashtag #PadresPA23. Example: "I vote for #PadresPA23 @ScrapDaddyAP".

There is scheduled to be an announcement on the "Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies" front tomorrow at 10 AM at Wrestlecon. I believe they will be announcing another film.

Cliff B. sent the following....I attended Colt Cabana's show on Thursday night. It was really good. The venue was small and held about 60 people. It was packed. We watched No Hold Barred. There were four people doing commentary over the show. Colt, Marty DeRosa, Cliff Compton and someone from the UK. They had some good lines and made watching a really bad movie fun. At the beginning of the show, Colt mentioned that he was wrestling Jeff Jarett this weekend and said he hope he didn't screw up so Jeff wouldn't invite him to his new wrestling project.

Jake Roberts, Gangrel and former ECW star Jasmin St. Claire all have roles in the new horror film "Catch of the Day." You can check out the trailer at this link.
