The official theme songs for Wrestlemania 30 are Eminem's "Legacy" from "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" (which is an AWESOME CD), Kid Rock's "Celebrate" from "Rebel Soul" and Mark Collie's "In Time" from "The Punisher: The Album."
The Scooby Doo Wrestlemania Mystery DVD and Blu-Ray was officially released today. The DVD features extras looking at WWE talents recording voice tracks for the film and episode of a “A Pup Called Scooby Doo†titled Wrestlemaniacs. There is a lot of marketing behind the film. Target has a promotion where you can get a free WWE toy ($4.99 value) with purchase of the film. Wal-Mart has a big end-cap featuring animated versions of HHH, AJ Lee and John Cena to promote the DVD and has a special edition set with a John Cena toy. There are also several Scooby Doo/WWE toy sets featuring Scooby with Sin Cara and Cena. When you think about it, the biggest push Cara has ever received is through this cartoon. Next up will be a Flintstones crossover in 2015. The opening to the Scooby cartoon film was released online:
Our friends at www.RingsideCollectibles.com sent word that they now have pre-orders online for Mattel’s WWE Elite Series 29 and Series 40 action figures, which feature the last CM Punk figures beyond Ringside’s ECW exclusive version of Punk. Series 29 will feature Goldust, the first figure for Erick Rowan, the first figure for Luke Harper, CM Punk, Damien Sandow and Andre The Giant. Also available is WWE Series 40, which is themed “Hometown Heroes†and will feature Great Khali (India), Rey Mysterio (San Diego), Zack Ryder (Long Island), Alberto Del Rio (Mexico), CM Punk (Chicago) and Edge (Toronto). The WWE Network will feature new episodes of Wrestlemania Rewind and WWE Countdown tonight. Rewind will focus on Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 10. I truly believe Hart's match against Owen Hart that night was the best opening match in Mania history. Countdown will look at the Top 10 blunders in WWE history.

WWE is running a contest for a Vince McMahon signed copy of the WWE 50 book at this link. I had a chance to read a review copy of the book over the weekend and thought author Kevin Sullivan did a nice job providing a pretty accurate overview. The book is really slickly put together and if you want a primer on overall wrestling history from a WWE POV, this is a great jumping off point. I’ll have a detailed review on 3/31 when the book is officially released.
