RAW SOLD OUT IN BROOKLYN, NEW CHARITY INITATIVE, TOTAL DIVAS RECAP, WWE CELEB LAUNCHES REALITY SERIES AND MORE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2014-03-24 10:10:35
Tonight’s Raw taping in Brooklyn, NY is sold out. There’s a chance some tickets will be released this afternoon as they finalize production, but currently, there is nothing available. We’ll have complete coverage of Raw, including the WWE Network pre-game and Backstage Pass broadcasts, later tonight.

WWE is launching a new charity initiative today, Superstars for Kids, featuring charity auctions. The AP featured an article about the initiative at this link.

This week’s Total Divas was based around the story that Brie had convinced Daniel Bryan to get a touring bus, so the cast traveled with them from show to show. Bryan made it clear there was to be no sex on the bus, which you can imagine will be a plot point down the line. Cameron, tired of Eva Marie always trying to put herself over, uncovered scantily clad photos of her from when she was younger online and spread them among the roster. Eva was upset and broke down, stating the photos were part of a past she was trying to put behind her. Cameron later tried to apologize but Eva shut that down. They also strengthened the relationship between Summer Rae and Eva as the two newer Divas against the old guard. The lighter hearted aspect of the show, if you can ever call it that, featured Nikki Bella trying to avoid John Cena the entire episode so she wouldn’t have to show him that she broke a tooth in the ring and feel ugly after they have reconciled. They are also building issues between Natalya and Summer Rae as Natalya isn’t happy about Rae’s lack of humility backstage as she’s getting more opportunities than Natalya is.

WWE celebrity personality Maria Menounos debuted new reality series “Chasing Maria” last week on Oxygen. It is airing Tuesdays at 10 PM.

WWE will broadcast Main Event and tape Smackdown tomorrow from Boston, MA. If anyone is attending the taping, we are seeking spoiler reports.

The first trailer for The Rock’s Hercules film will be released tomorrow as well.

The WWE Scooby Doo movie will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray tomorrow.
