THE ANSWER TO THE NUMBER ONE WWE NXT QUESTION THIS WEEK

By Mike Johnson on 2014-03-21 12:07:58
Since WWE NXT aired last night on the WWE Network, the top question we've received is, "What happened to Adam Rose's music?"

In asking around today, I was told that WWE didn't secure the rights to the song he used in his debut, Above Envy's "World Goes Wild."

The song, which perfectly suited the Rose character and entrance, was replaced in his second NXT appearance by another song. I'm not sure but I wouldn't be shocked to find out the new song was dubbed over the Above Envy song after the show was taped.

I was told by one person that the company didn't expect the song to get over so quickly with the audience.

It's always possible they could attempt to secure the song, which I would certainly suggest they spend the money to do. The Rose debut entrance, which was one of the most fun things I've seen in some time, unfortunately didn't carry the same energy as the character's debut.
