3/7 WWE RESULTS FROM WINNIPEG, MB

By Jamie Ference on 2014-03-08 00:25:01

Just got home from the WWE house show from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, MB and here's what went down....

Kofi Kingston pinned Damien Sandow after hitting Trouble in Paradise when Sandow was arguing with the referee.

Dolph Ziggler beat The Miz with the Zig Zag after a REALLY great match!! Seemed like they were going to let the crowd decide who would be heel and who would be face and crowd was solidly behind Ziggler. They raised each others arm in the air after the match.

Next The Usos defeated Goldust and Cody Rhodes when Cody was pinned by one of the Usos after they're finisher. Most of the match was the Usos working the leg of Goldust. Pretty dull match unfortunately considering the talent.

The Shield defeated The Wyatts when Reigns pinned Rowan after a spear in a 6 man tag match. Not as good as the PPV match but still an awesome brawl and the crowd split 50/50 on cheering for both sides.

After intermission The Bellas beat Alicia Fox and Aksana when Bella gave back breaker to Fox then pinned her for the win. The match was typical diva fare. Nothing too exciting.

Next Batista defeated the Big Show by count out after hitting the steel stairs. Before the match started Batista got into argument with fan at ringside which then followed by Batista shoving the fan to the ground then flipping he crowd off and leaving to the back. Big Show called him "Ba Bitch Ta" at which point a pouting Batista came back out and match finally begun. It didn't look like a plant in the crowd or anything pre-planned to get Batista heat it sure looked like a shoot as it looked loke either the fan or Batista were seconds away from jumping the rail. I thought Batista came off incredibly unprofessional!!

The main event saw Daniel Bryan pin Kane with the flying knee in a steel cage match. It seemed like the match was rushed possibly from the Batista incident taking up a lot of time earlier. Not the greatest match but Bryan was HUGE over and sent the crowd home happy.

Overall a decent show. The Batista incident with the fan stands out but an enjoyable night none the less. I'm horrible at guessing crowds but I'd say easily 8-9000 in attendance.
